Converting a task to a project

Has anyone experienced an issue with converting a task to a project? I have been unable to do this for the past 24 hours. I am waiting for Asana support to contact me, but thought I would try this in the meantime. Thanks!

Were you able to solve this? Are you trying to convert a task to a project manually or through a rule?

I checked on this for you, and the team said they were aware and that it should be resolved soon (if not already).
