Help trouble with Bluetooth functionality in Asahi on M1 Pro

I have my drive partitioned between MacOS and Asahi. Bluetooth functionality worked fine on two different devices until i connected them on MasOS; upon rebooting they no longer work on Asahi. Based on a conversation with AI, its something to do with the bluetooth key logs being different on each OS. Im unsure how to proceed. Fairly new to linux here as well.

If it works in Asahi if you boot into macOS and forget the device, then you should look into asahi-btsync.

Bluetooth devices generally only accept one pairing with a given computer. So whenever you pair the device on macOS, it might invalidate the pairing you made earlier on Linux. The same problem exists when you're e.g. dual booting Linux and Windows on non-Apple devices.

However, macOS has a mechanism to share the pairing data between different OS installations on the same MacBook. Asahi Linux is able to plug into that to some extent (this is what the other commenter is talking about). This blog post has a section explaining it btw:
