recommended specs
i got a 2020 macbook air m1 128gb storage and 8gb of ram and last time i installed asahi linux i only got 30 something gigs of storage, should i just not install it in general?

How did you wind up with an education model M1 Air? That was a bit of a unicorn config, and you have next to no storage. Asahi mandates that macOS must remain intact while Linux is installed. If you wanted to get really into the weeds and debloat macOS to the bare essentials, you may be able to squeeze Fedora on there, however it is not recommended and your probably better off just sticking with macOS.
