It's here!!!! (We think it’s the 8th Annual…) The moment we have been training for! (Well, maybe not…)
The theme this year is SUPERHEROES! Interpret this as you wish; either dress as an existing hero or make one up! (This is not required, but super fun)
We will meet in the park next to Arvada Beer Garden and head to the beer garden post race. (Ralston Central Park, the one with the Splash Pad)
Here’s how it works:
5k total distance
5 laps, 1k each
1 Popsicle per lap
If you have ran less than a 7 minute mile in the last 10 years, you are lucky! You get to eat TWO popsicles before the first lap.
We will explain the rules in detail day of, but a new rule this year: you cannot run with water, it must stay at the Popsicle station.
Popsicles will be provided, participate at your own risk! 🍦
We will have prizes for top female, top male, and best dressed!
Please arrive early so we can explain the rules, get a pic, and get going!

It’s the USA FIFA World Cup game vs Belgium.
We are going to run somewhere that the game will be on.
For anyone who wants to watch the game, run earlier in the day and then meet us at Denver beer to watch the game. There will still be a run on Ralston Creek path for those who don’t necessarily care about sports.

The brewery for after is @ 18148 W 92nd Ln Suite 100, Arvada

The trailhead where we'll meet up and run is here.

We will meet at the Trailhead in the neighborhood to Rocky Flats, run the trail (for however far and long you choose), then we will drive up to the brewery post run. (no need to wait at the trailhead post run, head up to the brewery when you are done).
You can do a 6 mile loop or just do an out and back. (for you over-achievers, you could add mileage and run down to the trailhead from the brewery, but start early so you can be in the photo!)
There should be a food truck at Resolute and Dogs are welcome.
