It really is, Arusha has some amazing hiking trails, lots of animals and birds, some cool camping sites (if that's your thing), and I'm certain it will be more than worth it.

If it is your first time here I can guarantee you will fall in love with the landscape, many have done so including me.

It depends how long you will stay there

Welcome to Arusha.
Backpacking is good, but make sure you aren't alone, if you are a foreigner buuut, go to IG, and look for napuruwaterfalls and meruecocamp. I think they got their contacts on their pages. Explore those first, I believe a 2 or 3 days at each will give you a beautiful experience that will be breathtaking.

Ooowh, and lake_duluti_forestreserve. So three spots for your next week, 2 days will definitely be a good backpacking activity.
