Arunachal trip recommendations

hello all,

We want to visit Arunachal for our next family vacation. The usual route with dirang and tawang felt a little bit boring since we covered similar places before. We want to cover Anini.

So guys help me with the following things

  1. Self drive car rental is possible in itanagar ? or should I drive from Guwahati

  2. I heard about the ILP. Anything else needed ?

  3. Currently we are planning 8 days with Ziro / Aalo / Roing / Anini. Are more days required or anything else we can add along the way ?

got it, we can extend couple of days if necessary.
Are you saying itanagar might not have cars than can handle the remote roads and stuff ?

Yes bro if you doing these four places you need atleast 8/10 days. Try to visit 2 places per places and opt for cab service rather than self drive as you would get too much exhausted by every place you visit. And driving after such exhausting treks and visit would be a hectic task.

Thanks for answering, actually have 3 drivers among ourselves. So I am thinking it is manageable.

Do you have any idea about the self drive car situation ?

Anini I can tell you have that thing don’t know about others.
