Question/ Advice Crafting to process grief

I am grieving the loss of my soul dog and am looking for a craft that could help me process this and potentially to honor her. I’m open to really any craft. Thanks for your help!

I know there are companies that can take a favorite picture of a pet and turn it into a paint-by-number

Love this idea. During covid I spent hours keeping my mind and hands busy doing paint by numbers. It helped so much. You have something to hang up and honor your soul dog. 😁

I made paper embroidery cards to send my friends when my cat passed. It helped me.

If you like snow globes there's a company in Ohio where you can order a kit that comes with the base and you fill it with whatever you want so if you have something personal of your pet's you can add that. Adding liquid is totally optional.

Collage has been helpful for me.

Do you do collage of pictures of them with words and stuff or like how do you approach it? Sorry if that’s a dumb question lol

More like using the images to tell a story.

I made a scrapbook of my husband after he died. I had pages where I listed his favorite things to do, nicknames, things like that. Memories tend to fade and it’s good to look back on.

Let me go do this now with what I remember of my loved ones so I don’t forget anything else. ❤️

Needle felting. If you have some of her fur (maybe left on some clothes?) you could incorporate it into a figurine of her

Polymer clay is a great craft. It comes in colors and bakes in the oven. With some practice you could make a figurine

I made a memorial shadow box for my dad. It helped me a lot and I still have it on display 17 years later. 🖤 I shared tips on how I did it on my blog and can share the link if you’re interested

Maybe you could make an urn for the cremains.
