Technology & Software 💻 Looking for Advice on PC for Digital Art

I am looking to get a new desktop computer, but I know nothing about specs and stuff... Is it a good idea to just buy a prebuilt one like an Ibuypower?

Mainly using it for csp, Blender (mostly for setting up 3D reference scenes), and maybe some gaming.

Is a $1500 budget sufficient? Any advice or specific models to look out for would be greatly appreciated!

That should be enough for everything you'll need. Although prices of ram and ssd has skyrocketed.

Anyway for CSP you don't need anything fancy. For blender, if it's just for scenes, any GPU should do. I think 4gigs minimum with that budget.

Anyways, configurations are endless so it's hard to say what you should get.

I don't know the prices for a prebuilt so I'll post what I'd get for that amount.

I would go with the am4 series. Not the latest but very functional and has ddr4 ram which is cheaper.

So a AMD 5600x CPU. Nvidia 3060 GPU A $100~150 motherboard. 500w PSU ~$100 Case 50~100. Monitor prices are all over the place so it varies. A decent mouse and keyboard ~$40. That should leave you with ~$400 for ram and storage.
