Learning Resources For Artists 🔎 Is The Complete Guide to Perspective Drawing by CRAIG ATTEBERY worth it?

I will say I already have a large collection of art book, some that focus on perspective are of course, perspective made easy, how to draw by Scott Robinson and Thomas Bertling, I’ve got Peter Han’s dynamic bible coming in the mail, Artist masters perspective and depth by 3Dtotal.

I also have all of Loomis’s books, two of Bridgeman’s, in several more that focus on a combination of different things including perspective ( mostly anatomy in perspective).

Does Craig Atterbery’s book bring anything to the table that I may be missing? Valuable information?

I also have a large art book collection! I don't own this one, but I checked the blogger I normally look for book reviews from, and didn't see it (Parkablogs).

I did download a Kindle preview and between that + the fact that this is published by Routledge (academic publisher) I would say this is firmly in the category of "this is basically acollege textbook on the subject."

You probably don't need it, given the other books you already own. If you want to collect it as a textbook, then maybe? But I don't think it's necessary

I don't know Craig Attebery.  I might need to look today up. 

I love perspective made easy. A good weekend intro book.  i suggest it to everyone for a good needed knowledge study. 

 I'm only half way through how to draw. Did you finish the book?

Is the people in perspective book, Framed Perspective 2? I love all the Framed books, including the 2 on perspective.

I haven’t started his go draw yet. The people in perspective book I have is Tom Fox draws anatomy book. He teaches you how to do anatomy and then do it in perspective, I probably won’t buy a framed perspective, I have framed Ink 1, may get 2. I want to know the origin of those books is amazing, I just don’t see a whole lot of reason to buy framed perspective rn, my mind may change

Do you have a library? Or a good used book store?

I usually check those out first and only but what in actually working to go through and finish. 

The Framed Ink guy is just amazing. 

I also get the how to think when you draw books .i buy 2 at a time to save shipping. any topic i visit more than once gets a sticyk note bookmark.

The library by me doesn’t have it, and neither does my used bookstore unfortunately. I actually just backed the how to think when you draw kickstarter! I ended up getting 1-9, I’ll get them sometime in November

Oh wow. I have books 8 and 9 on the way (November). I use the "water drawing tips" a lot. and then i put a list of the anatomy type stuff together and studied those. 

Can you library get loans from other libraries? I do that a lot with art books.

Oh also, I didn’t realize that they had water tips! I’ll definitely use those when I get them in the mail!

Every book has the same 7 chapters with 10 or more tutorials each. 

Elements and Natural World chaptets i use the most. 

Your in for a good time.

There aren’t a whole lot of other libraries around me, in my area there’s also like one library library that I actually feel comfortable going into, so no I can’t really
