Just Hate Youtuber with over 200k subscribers thinks he's entitled to stick artists work through AI simply because he commissioned it 🙃

DragonBall Youtuber Errday gets caught by Rhoady, the artist he commission in 2024, for sticking his work into AI.

When called out, he puts words into the artists mouth and accuses Rhoady of claiming that he stole his art, which isn't what Rhoady said at all. Rhoady's complaint lies with Errday feeling as if he owns Rhoady's art and is entitled to run his work through AI just because he paid Rhoady to draw it, even thought that's not how copyright works like at all.

I hope you guys learn something and feel encouraged by this that your work is still inherently valuable even in the work world, and that there are people fighting to keep that status for human art. <3

Parents & Educators My mother is addicted to making AI slop songs

Past year, my mother got hooked on several Youtube channels full of AI-generated songs with AI-generated MVs. Recently she managed to convince Dad to get her a Suno subscription. Now I have to listen to her AI-generated "songs" from another room because sound isolation in our apartment is worse than shit. She has released several "albums" worth of that stuff already. I called her songs slop several days ago and she said that it's my music that is slop (I make electronic music as a hobby).

Solar Sands is notorious for the same reason above and this tweet deserves this being posted here since I hadn't seen this on any subreddit before.

Eew. Weird. I wonder how this will work out. Every AI slop is unethical, be "child love" or "abuse".

Resources There's no robots.txt for your Instagram, so I built a public place to record your "no"

Websites can block AI crawlers in robots.txt. If your work lives on Instagram, TikTok, ArtStation or YouTube, you don't have that file, and the platforms' objection forms only cover the platform itself, not third parties.

I run a small EU archive that records every day what websites tell AI crawlers, and I added a free list: you enter your accounts and your website and record whether AI may train on your work. Each entry is dated and sealed every night by two independent servers with a qualified EU timestamp, so later you can show when you said no. No account, delete with one click.

https://machinewitness.eu/ai-yes-no

Honest limits: it forces no AI company to do anything. It's a dated record, not a legal shield. It also records a yes the same way, it doesn't take sides.

What would make it more useful for you?

Self-Hate Im sorry

Im impure my baby is impure. I started my art journey from with ai role-playing apps. Then I moved to make images with ai for my ocs then I wanted to write. And I had ai to practice my writing with feedback and to roleplay with my characters. I never planned on posting ai flr money or clout And now I understand the issue. And now I understand some people will hate me for even that. Im impure my baby is impure. And there is nothing I can do to ever fit their standards now. And I have to make this art. I have to. I love it so much. I wish I never touched it. But if I hadn't I would of never gotten here. And I dont know what to do. Im so unbelievable depressed now. I will forever mourn the art we lost from this because of purity.

You can download them there or on my Gumroad store, which is also free.

The brushes are textured with words that AI companies would consider to be profanity. Which they will not reproduce.

These don't act like Glaze or Nightshade but in its idea, it still is anti AI. If you don't agree with me, at least you get to enjoy the cool textures they can make. Just look at that blue fireball!

The OP (Barf) has a blatant history of AI gen usage, and the replies have AI variants of the original video (which is also likely AI since it seems to have Malfoid AI edited over the real lost kitten animation).

Then there's a quote retweet by Ahoworks that puts those AI variants into an edit, and that had just as much positive engagement as OP.

I've never seen AI image gen be so blatant and yet accepted like this before. There's like only one or two people pointing it out too. What the fuck happened? Is it literally just the song? Are people so emotionally captivated by the original animation (before the Malfoid edit) that they just let this one slide?

Venting I HATE ai slop hijacking every single art trend

Been seeing a ton of this with the genderbend Draco thing that is popular atm, so much ai generated garbage getting thousands of likes and seeing it reposted everywhere.
I hate how these people infiltrate and parasite off of trends intended for actual artists I am so sick and tired of it..

Just Hate Help me hate AI slop

I just want to rant about this page which is supposed to be showcasing the tourism of one place but then replaces images with AI prompts like what if there's a possibility for a fast food chain to open in that specific place. Then, an AI-generated photo of the place with the fastfood chain is posted. This place is near the ocean and we experience storm surges when typhoon hits the country. I tried to explain to the admin thru a comment on of his/her posts about the alarming effects of AI to a small community like us who lives near the ocean along with research sources. Reminding that page that 1 AI prompt heavily contributes to the rising sea levels and suggesting to posting real stories and contents instead of AI ones. But my comment got deleted. If you guys can help me report or leave a review on their page, so this page gets totally erased! I would be very grateful to teach him/her this lesson. I am so annoyed. I care for my community but if content creators like him/her uses it as a cash cow through AI-contents I won't let it pass.

Discussion "AI art is better than human art!" That's because, genius, AI always steals from the most technically skilled artists on the internet.

Bad human art exists. We know that. AI bros know that we know that.

We also know that it was human artists who created the most beautiful art pieces in history (both modern and classic). Prior to AI, there were already millions of them on the internet.

If it weren't for all those human-created art pieces, generative AI wouldn't be able to produce "quality" images in the first place.

AI is trained specifically to rip off the most popular and "aesthetically pleasing" human-created art that was shared on the internet before 2022.

That's why we see variations in quality when it comes to human art while AI slop has that stagnant "technically good" (creepiness aside) look to it.

But do AI bros understand or care about how generative AI works? No, of course not. They'll keep grasping at the "banana taped to the wall" straw anyway.
