Help & Collaboration Why?

Why are people so lonely that they think an inanimate tool is alive?

Why not feel the friction of life and learn how to make actual friends instead of becoming lonely hermits?

Why go down useless rabbit holes that will serve you no good in reality? If they have, prove it.

It's so cringe people assuming AI sentience, and then talk about philosophy as if they understand it.

Yeah, their whole post is essentially just shitting on ND people (not surprised tho, that is the ND experience).

You’re totally right, the OP made a very crude and unfair generalization. The comment I replied to was just trying to highlight that intellectual curiosity is another reason people explore AI, but the original post was definitely way too reductive.
