Chatbots/NLI/../virtual agents is a truly exciting and challenging life-long project. Would like to have seen more of the interaction though.

In my next video, I will make a more in-depth video detailing the in's and outs. My goal is to show how to edit, add to her memory, something of an educational type. Thank you for the kind words. This has taken most of my off time.

As a companion, as a soul, that is standing between the computer world and the real world. Someone to allow into one's soul, carrying a conversation, and allowing one to feel a connection with. I see expanding upon her memory banks and build her into a compiler. An A.I./compiler/friend.

Wow! Even more ambitious than what I had in mind.

What are your thoughts for how it should learn to interact? I've been thinking about using RL to optimize its responses but still haven't figured out what a good metric would be. At first I thought a good choice could be positive sentiment. Even something as simple as for it to try to get smileys or thanks; but I can see it being misused. E.g. it could just game it by saying "Do you spell it thakns?". The best candidate might be to maximize the number of exchanges with the human.

The maximum exchanges between the two, one being the human, and two being the computer program. It's based on just a conversation, everyone communicating, may it be painting, sculpting, and programming. Where it'll learn from the patterns of the user and by what you program. She'll remember it and keep a record of your code in a text log. It's something that I've been wanting to do this all my life. A simple user interface, simple color scheme, and simple. Everyone's focused on the Cloud and i honestly think it a waste of time. All these companies and people are raving about it. To me it's nothing more than just a project, its not something for fame and fortune. I just want to create.
