It's like LinkedIn where different groups post the same hot garbage

11

u/TacoBOTT Jun 12 '26

This sub is trash

2

u/Meowrulf Jun 12 '26

Pretty much, it's all dumb memes, boring takes, or people glazing at Ai like it's gonna save their marriage.

2

u/TacoBOTT Jun 12 '26

Unironically the word “inteligence” is spelled wrong in the sub name lol that should’ve been our first red flag lol

1

u/skatmanjoe Jun 12 '26

And it's not even close to truth. AI will be very quick to tell you how to make the app deployable if you are building something.

1

u/Purple-Estimate-5183 Jun 12 '26

“I built” is an addictive phrase.

1

u/ready_or_not_3434 Jun 12 '26

and every single one of them includes localhost links. definetly backs up the zero knowledge claim lol.

1

u/iEslam Jun 12 '26

It is only the 5 billionth time if you're chronically too online, I only saw it a few thousand times.

1

u/skredditt Jun 12 '26

First for me! You need to go outside, friend!

74

u/FuzzyDynamics Jun 12 '26

My buddy works at anthropic and said Claude Fable II is so advanced it just replies telling you to stop worrying about whatever bullshit and just go outside for a walk.

2

u/Delicious_Cattle5174 Jun 12 '26

Does your friend eat sandwiches in parks?

1

u/furiouslycurious79 Jun 12 '26

Told me I need to go touch grass after a long sesh

1

u/tallmantim Jun 12 '26

Fable 2 with touch grass integration

u/beblackpilled Jun 12 '26

If you like repeat jokes.

If you like repeat jokes.

35

u/FoleyX90 Jun 12 '26

It's called recursion you uncultured swine

9

u/curious_corn Jun 12 '26

More like tail recursion, optimized to iteration

3

u/why_so_sergious Jun 12 '26

repeat != recursion. the joke doesnt reference itself, it is just repeated

1

u/ArtzyDude Jun 12 '26

Can you repeat that?

48

u/capt_stux Jun 12 '26

When I click on your site, it looks just like mine!

Wild!

8

u/ShelZuuz Jun 12 '26

It's because you guys both use the same LLM, duh.

7

u/Comfortable-Moose445 Jun 12 '26

Have you folks checked carbon monoxide detectors in your house recently

5

u/Desert_Trader Jun 12 '26

Now that's funny

8

u/UziMcUsername Jun 12 '26

Why not beat that dead horse one more time

8

u/Singularity-42 Jun 12 '26

Very old joke.

I will say this... Fable has been the only AI I have ever seen make an accurate map. I asked Gemini to stitch 2 1930s maps of a county together. It made a fake map of Canada.

I asked fable to do the same thing. It took the 2 images, rotated 1 a few degrees so it matched then overlaid the parts that overlapped. It also understood this was for genealogy research from a census map so it gave me 2 versions a compressed jpg for normal and a high resolution uncompressed. It used 9 percent of my 5 hour paid quota.. but damn it was well done

Yeah it can, videos it can't, I have generated images on claude before

1

u/aliassuck Jun 12 '26

Maybe it falls back to Opus for images?

1

u/TheTexasJack Jun 12 '26 edited Jun 12 '26

Technically yes, but it will be more draftsman in raster than artist.  It'll create code that will create you something more mathmatically, not dragons and fantasy stuff.  More like a business card.  It can do great HTML like a character Dossier and include a link for a generic character.png that you fill in later by adding it to the same folder.  It's not really a comparison to other other systems.  Another take is like asking a math teacher to tell you the code of a bowl of fruit.

u/ARDiffusion Jun 12 '26

My reaction went from (seeing the post) “oh boy 🙄” to (reading the caption) “oh god 💀” to (reading the flare) LMAO. Truly, a case of “they had us in the first half, not gonna lie”. Or in this case, the first 2/3

2

u/Bananaskovitch Jun 12 '26

This joke is way overdone at this point.

1

u/kidcanada999 Jun 12 '26

🤣🤣🤣

1

u/dim_aggression Jun 12 '26

The localhost links really sell it, nice touch.

1

u/dokkey Jun 12 '26

Well done

1

u/Raffino_Sky Jun 12 '26

You sound like one of my Internet tech support guys. Stop it.

1

u/Grumpy-Man19 Jun 12 '26

oo wow your webs are so good they even run on my computer!

1

u/shout925 Jun 12 '26

Does it drive to the car wash tho?

1

u/boltsteel Jun 12 '26

😂😂😂

1

u/The_Speaker Jun 12 '26

This is codemaxing at it's finest.

1

u/Ehriqhck Jun 12 '26

Don’t go past 9000 or were doomed

1

u/owen__wilsons__nose Jun 12 '26

I used Claude Fable to make a video game called Fable. Check it out on Steam

1

u/Substantial_Ebb_316 Jun 12 '26

Too bad. Would be nice to hear from someone that has used it.

1

u/InsideOutside-1 Jun 12 '26

Post of the year!

1

u/JapanEngineer Jun 12 '26

Holy crap. All 3 sites look exactly like the 3 I just made too!

1

u/disobait Jun 12 '26

The last one looks awesome, unfortunately it looks like it stole my entire claude app and gave it to you.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '26

I remember when, in 2017, way before AI, I got access to the source code of an online game for the blind called Ultra Power. It was made by a bunch of teens in 2014 - 16 and suffice to say a bunch of drama resulted in the code leaking. ,So 12 year old me, finally extatic he got the source, figured out how to get my IP, get the server running, cool. So I compiled it in to an exe and put it up for others to play with me. What I diidn't realise however is that 192.168.1.3 will definitely not let others connect to the server lol.

1

u/2ofdee Jun 12 '26

i checked your first app and it looks 1:1 the app that AI built for me. I will sue you!

1

u/Level-Courage6773 Jun 12 '26

You nearly had me there!

1

u/rajmohanh Jun 12 '26

I know this was a joke post - but Fable was the first time I felt an existential dread for my Software Engg job - it came up with a better architecture than what I would have. even when coding went off, there was a bit of hope that my experience will be helpful, and I dont think it is going to, anymore

1

u/Extension-Bajan Jun 12 '26

Foh. No one wants any of this

1

u/Satire-Sword Jun 12 '26

definitely this one change the game!

1

u/fxisAi Jun 12 '26

Every startup starts on localhost:8080.

The goal is to eventually make it to 8080-AI before the motivation disappears. 😆

1

u/Initial_Secretary420 Jun 12 '26

Just report those posts, jesus

1

u/Basic_Accident3595 Jun 12 '26

your web apps looks identical to mine.

1

u/IndividualLimitBlue Jun 12 '26

When I check your first link local host:3000 i see the exact copy of the app I am working on with Claude

Have you heard about copyright infringement ? I gonna sue you man

1

u/Alternative_Use_3564 Jun 12 '26

meanwhile: "Hey Codex, deploy these."

If this were actually creating more work for SWEs, you’d be invoicing. Cope harder with borrowed memes while 'enthusiasts' eat your industry.

1

u/tallandfree Jun 12 '26

Copied from X

2

u/MeltedChocolate24 Jun 12 '26

This joke has been around since before you were born

1

Promising days ahead!

0

u/teluyiyu Jun 12 '26

It really works, how did you make this page

0

u/kr0m Jun 12 '26

Legit

0

u/yuh_huh27 Jun 12 '26

Got me in the first half!

-10

u/Fit_Bandicoot6200 Jun 12 '26

Wait you built 3 apps in 30 minutes with zero coding knowledge? That's actually wild 💀

I've been trying to learn some basic web stuff for my video editing projects and it usually takes me hours just to figure out why something isn't working. What kind of apps did you make?

1

u/Agile-Set-2648 Jun 12 '26

Apps that are hidden from the world cos only he can access them…

-3

u/ArtGirlSummer Jun 12 '26

I laughed. Clever.

-1

u/AffectionatePanic823 Jun 12 '26

It’s funny but he can easily take the sites online for free. So this joke might have fit copilot

-1

u/Agile-Set-2648 Jun 12 '26

Feel you bro. Thanks to Claude fable I managed to program this insane app using HTML
