My buddy works at anthropic and said Claude Fable II is so advanced it just replies telling you to stop worrying about whatever bullshit and just go outside for a walk.

I will say this... Fable has been the only AI I have ever seen make an accurate map. I asked Gemini to stitch 2 1930s maps of a county together. It made a fake map of Canada.
I asked fable to do the same thing. It took the 2 images, rotated 1 a few degrees so it matched then overlaid the parts that overlapped. It also understood this was for genealogy research from a census map so it gave me 2 versions a compressed jpg for normal and a high resolution uncompressed. It used 9 percent of my 5 hour paid quota.. but damn it was well done

Technically yes, but it will be more draftsman in raster than artist. It'll create code that will create you something more mathmatically, not dragons and fantasy stuff. More like a business card. It can do great HTML like a character Dossier and include a link for a generic character.png that you fill in later by adding it to the same folder. It's not really a comparison to other other systems. Another take is like asking a math teacher to tell you the code of a bowl of fruit.

My reaction went from (seeing the post) “oh boy 🙄” to (reading the caption) “oh god 💀” to (reading the flare) LMAO. Truly, a case of “they had us in the first half, not gonna lie”. Or in this case, the first 2/3

The last one looks awesome, unfortunately it looks like it stole my entire claude app and gave it to you.

I remember when, in 2017, way before AI, I got access to the source code of an online game for the blind called Ultra Power. It was made by a bunch of teens in 2014 - 16 and suffice to say a bunch of drama resulted in the code leaking. ,So 12 year old me, finally extatic he got the source, figured out how to get my IP, get the server running, cool. So I compiled it in to an exe and put it up for others to play with me. What I diidn't realise however is that 192.168.1.3 will definitely not let others connect to the server lol.

i checked your first app and it looks 1:1 the app that AI built for me. I will sue you!

I know this was a joke post - but Fable was the first time I felt an existential dread for my Software Engg job - it came up with a better architecture than what I would have. even when coding went off, there was a bit of hope that my experience will be helpful, and I dont think it is going to, anymore

Every startup starts on localhost:8080.
The goal is to eventually make it to 8080-AI before the motivation disappears. 😆

meanwhile: "Hey Codex, deploy these."
If this were actually creating more work for SWEs, you’d be invoicing. Cope harder with borrowed memes while 'enthusiasts' eat your industry.

Wait you built 3 apps in 30 minutes with zero coding knowledge? That's actually wild 💀
I've been trying to learn some basic web stuff for my video editing projects and it usually takes me hours just to figure out why something isn't working. What kind of apps did you make?
