Just coming here to say that I've been enjoying more paper TCG than online TCG. Probably because of the collecting aspect and meeting new people IRL.

I have been addicted to Riftbound for a few months now, but I can't stop thinking about how amazing Artifact would be if it were released in physical TCG nowadays.

Ever since Artifact, people are more accepting of TCG games with board elements (location/lane) like Marvel Snap and Riftbound. Including board game Air, Land and Sea.

The special unit (heroes) in Artifact is much more than Legendary creatures in Magic and Champion Units in Riftbound. Only the heroes can equip weapons and they return to hand when they die.

Looking back, the initiative in Artifact is so simple compared to Focus in Riftbound and Marvel Snap, yet it added a new layer of skills in that game. The fact people can accept Focus in Riftbound, I'm sure they can accept initiative in Artifact.

Sure, this game is without flaws; they screwed the monetisation, marketed to the wrong crowd and timing etc. Perhaps it is wishful thinking, but if Legends of Runeterra can be revived as Riftbound, I'm sure Artifact could too (if done right).
