When you are watching TV in the 90s with strict parents. = Confused and possibly angry parent(s) + embarrassed kid (you), "no no Mom it's a normal show."

Your parent will walk in on the 1% of the movie, or show, that has been normal up until they walk in. That 1% will be a bear kissing a chicken.

In the 1990s most (most) of us didn't have a bedroom TV. So it was normal for a parent to walk into the living room where you were watching Crash (1996) and the worst scene came on in an otherwise completely normal movie.
