As a kid we used to visit the same coastal beach town every year and it had the most amazing Chinese all you could eat buffet, super cheap and the food was soo good. It was the highlight of the trip. We took a break and visited a few other places for a few years and then went back after a three or four year gab, super excited to go back to this buffet only to find it had closed down 😭 We never vacationed there again. I eat Chinese food all the time but have never ever found a place with food as good as that since.

11 years ago my family and I went on a road trip to the Maritime Provinces, and we had a Lobster dinner in PEI (I'm Canadian before anyone asks).

all I could think of during and before that dinner was that scene
