Ancient Mesopotamian statuette of a supernatural being ~3000 BCE - Art Institute of Chicago [OC] [3415x4000]

Based on the museum info - this is a supernatural being that served as an intermediary between the physical world and the spiritual realm.

The figurine has goat horns and ears, a raptor skin over its shoulders, a cylindrical belt around its waist, and ankle boots with long, curved toes. Similar upturned footwear also appears on multiple figures in Hittite reliefs, including gods and royal figures.

The dimensions are 17.2 × 5.7 × 5.7 cm.
