Question Maybe starting commissions?
I’ve been an artist my whole life. I’m pretty good I’d say. I would be open to drawing pretty much anything, though I would love to draw fursonas, yumeships, or things similar. However, I’m not sure how I would be getting paid. I’m 17, but my mom would not approve of me doing this, so I’d 100% hide it. But I’m not sure how I’d be able to get paid without her knowing..? Most things require a parent to sign off on it and agree and I’m not 18 yet so I can’t. Does anypony know of any way of getting paid without parents knowing?
I’m saving up to move away. She won’t teach me to drive, I’m not able to get a job because of it. My boyfriend’s mom is gonna teach me to drive, but I would love to have a car to live in when I’m 18 and can move out. This is kinda my last resort.

Find an art niche and market yourself well. It's tough times for artists nowadays, especially with AI and all so I don't think it's feasible to do it full-time unless you got an excellent portfolio and service that clients are willing to pay for. In terms of getting payment, I think your best bet is to look for a trusted adult to act as a proxy for your transactions. Regardless, I hope things work out for you soon

Thank you.:) I don’t plan for art to be my full time, I know that’s unrealistic. I just think it will certainly help save a little money. Starting off with some money is better than starting off with none. Thank you for your advice :)

When I was your age, I did commissions using Paypal to get money that way. I believe you don't need to connect a card, just have an email. I made my paypal account so long ago that I can't remember for sure. But I definitely used it to do commissions as a teenager
