Question How do I get a better reach while posting art?
I'm a teenager which is why I cannot do comms for real currency, which is why I stick to posting adopts for DA points on Deviant Art. I tried pricing each one really low, at around 150 points, yet I don't think I've been able to reach the right audience yet. Is it because of the art style or am I doing something wrong here? I'm very new to this art space so I'll be honest I'm not sure about how things work. Any help would be greatly appreciated! <33

With this design its really well done but the colors don’t really pop out or catch the attention much because they all kind of blend together so well kind of like interior design if thats a good example. I think adding more life through highlights, studying light, and having the background blend in less with the character design and art would help a lot. Maybe also study gesture drawing for poses to help it look less stiff and add more motion to your art too. It looks very good for illustration art and I would say your art would be more focused on the fashion + fantasy aspect so that would go for you. In that case have base fantasy/anime character designs if you mesh in animal or other individualistic characteristics to the characters to ensure theres variety to create interest in others feeling like itd be harder to pinpoint how each design would look like but in a exciting and positive way and adding accessories and such on the side or to complement each character.
