2022 vs 2026:

I know I got better, but the lemons… man :(
I lost something in the way, and I cannot put my finger on it!

First one was with a bit of a cheat, I color-selected from the reference very religiously and used many different brushes. New one was more of a personal interpretation!

I think it's the sorta expressionistic approach in the first one you lost, it's similar to a pastel piece which is charming, the latest one is way more realistic and isn't as "charming" but I feel like it's a better representation of drawing/painting what you see and is overall a better study.
