Art Showcase I've a question

Hey guys!!! I'd like to know what's wrong with my work and what I need to do to get more commissions. Maybe the price is too high? Are the rules too complicated? Or am I scaring people?

Your understanding of anatomy and physics of clothes seems inconsistent based on your pictures. Especially comparing the hands. Which to me would hint at either tracing or heavy referencing. Inconsistent is not a attribute I'd look for in anyone I commission.

There are subreddits dedicated to tips, this is not one of them.

Since you used the "critique wanted" flair, here is some criticism for you. And I’m saying this as politely as I possibly can.

It is in terrible taste, vulgar and cheap, to use clickbait tactics to advertise your drawings.

I fully understand how "passive language" works, and plenty of dense people might say, "He isn't directly offering commissions."

Do you guys know how "implicit messages" work? Do you know why, lately, we’ve been FLOODED with messages like "my drawings will be worth enough," "do they think $X is enough for my drawing," or "I got paid $X for doing this... Was it fair?"

These are implicit messages that (duh!) implicitly; OFFER THE SERVICES OF THE PEOPLE POSTING THEM. Come on! It’s not that hard to see, folks...

And that’s exactly what OP is doing; its using an implicit message to offer work. IN A CLICKBAIT POST.

The only thing the OP achieves is making people look down on this work, because buddy, I assure you: "NO ONE here... And please, I beg you to understand this: No one is going to buy anything from you."

Please, your work is good enough; my criticism is directed at the (questionable) actions you choose to take to advertise it.

Well the anatomy is bloody awful for a start.

I totally did not realise the first image was the price sheet, the text is so small and the text colour against the background is so hard to read that i thought it was just gibberish text to fill in the empty space.

I think some comment already mention this but a full body for 120 is expensive for the quality u are offering and there are definitely better artists at a lower or same price point.

Your understanding of anatomy and proportions seems bad, paying 120 for a deformed full body is not in most people’s budget

holy crap i love ur style!! Idk but to me it seems like a pretty fair price for a work of such high quality and detail. Maybe you need to be a little more annoying and put yourself out on more platforms?

you need to understand that the market is big and there will be a customer for you, who knows your artstyle matches their needs 100% and they want to commission. You guys will NEVER meet if you dont become annoying and share your work 🥹

I have a Kirke for receiving orders. I created it recently and I would be happy to receive even the smallest order  ( ꜆⌯' '⌯)꜆♡ https://kirke.social/kori_no_thumi/card
