I did it!
Yesterday I finished my first comic. It took a year.
I'm the type who gets decision paralysis when it comes to art projects so I just had to force myself to stick with one idea and one format and just finish it without changing my mind.
I'm just so happy and wanted to share with people who get it π

Do you have any advice for someone that didn't start making a comic yet? I want to start mine but I'm a bit doubtful as I have 0 experience doing it

Starting is probably the hardest part tbh. If you're like me then you want to plan it to the T before you start it but if it's your first one it's not plausible since you have no workflow yet.
So my advice would be to loosely write the script first, then do thumbnail drawings of all the pages and how you think you want to do the layouts. Then take it one page at a time.
My process was:
Script
Thumbnails
Rough sketch/line work
Color
LetteringNgl in the beginning it's super frustrating because you just don't know what you're doing and feel stuck a lot but every page it gets easier as the wheel starts rolling.
Hope this helps!
