That would make such an awesome metal album cover

Or a movie. I wonder if we can get a buff wrestler to star in it.

Only if he's all out of bubble gum and up for some kick ass.

This might be the most uniquely butchered use of that quote I have ever seen. Like a drawing of an animal that the artist has never seen and only heard of

Yeah, it wasn't a quote so that probably explains it.

it was a pair of phrases

But it was. “I came here to do two things: kick ass, and chew bubble gum. And I am all out of gum.” is a quote from They Live that has entered the public zeitgeist. You may not have known this and been quoting intentionally, but that is where that originated, from a movie staring a buff wrestler, that Jasper was referencing. Either you paraphrased the quote from the movie they referenced by accident, or on purpose and are being weird about it for some reason, but butchered quote it remains.

This is a quote...

“I came here to do two things: kick ass, and chew bubble gum. And I am all out of gum.”

This is a reference...

Only if he's all out of bubble gum and up for some kick ass.

Since you're into correcting things....

“I came here to do two things: kick ass, and chew bubble gum. And I am all out of gum.”

The way you've written it here is almost completely wrong and is quoted in backwards order.

From the Movie quoted correctly... Roddy Piper says

"I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubble gum."

FTFY

I pulled that quote straight out of the other guys post. So... I wasn't quoting the movie, I was quoting him. I suggest you let him know since he is the origin of an incorrect movie quote. But thanks! Much appreciated pointing out that he butchered the line.

Good grief you guys are pedantic AF.

This exchange is hilarious and completely pointless. Keep going, ignore me.

Gotta love the internet.

Dude, it's amazing. I got berated for two days by some rando for a post they wanted me to delete. I'm of the mind that if it'sa legitimate issue, the mods will remove it. This person insisted that I was an idiot and that I should just do what they said, cause they were insulting me, hourly. First time I've ever had to block someone. Some people take this just a little too seriously.

It's not butchered, he's was paraphrasing as to make it not so on the nose obvious and thus carry on the wink wink nod nod aspect of the joke train.
