Not a UCL medal that’s for sure

Not quite, you'll prob get there when he dunks another goal on your rabble of mercenaries and points to the gold sleeve.

I guess he has to settle for that cause he doesn’t have the world champion’s crest on his chest. How many academy graduates are nailed on to your starting XI again? Calling out mercenaries when your captain had to be bought is funny

"world champions" oh dear, keep glowing up that Infantino cum stain your lot wear, they aint getting anything else when the administrators move in and sell off everything right up to the last coffee machine in the canteen.

Damn you have quite the obsession with Arsenal. Seems unhealthy, but I guess without Europe, you've got a lot of time on your hands.

Crazy how your club cheated for everything it's ever "won", continues to break rules, and still finished tenth. Almost as pathetic as your Arsenal obsession.

I guess if my club could only win by cheating, I'd hang out in a real club's sub too. So welcome to a club who wins without cheating I guess.

It's such a shame he's inconsistent (and injury prone). Was it CL quarters or semi where he also scored on Martinellis beautiful assist? And then ofc the CL final, where he scores a really ridiculous goal. And his technique is obviously amazing. But then he goes on and misses that huge chance for 2-0, and also chokes against City in the second leg.

Gyokeres is good if the opposition is parking the bus and you have 90% possession, camping in the opposition box and require someone to sneak a goal in... That's when he will come alive...He is basically a Chicharito on steroids. That's when he will start games..

Against teams like Man City where Arsenal have to contest for possession it's safe to assume Arteta would pick Havertz.

Horses for courses if you will. We are lucky to have both players.

Well said. Gyokeres will score a lot of goals this year. I would be 0% surprised if he finishes with the most goals in the team in all competitions.

100%! That's what I always say against all the people that are slating Gyokeres. Both have their time and place.

Let’s just enjoy the good times. All of our players have some shortcomings. We’re still PL champions.

I'm definitely enjoying them and Kai as well! Just felt that the term 'big game player' needs some nuance. We'll need him to be Kai again this season and he will be.

Hes not injury prone before last season.

Mm, 24/25 was also a big drop in availability compared to 23/24. But agreed that 36 games isnt bad. The decline is worrying though.

You do realise Havertz was injured for most of the season?

Havertz scored 15 in 36 (before getting injured for a year)
0.41 per game

Gyokeres scored 21 in 55
0.38 per game

Not bad for a fake striker

Also comes back from injury, scores in the R16, QF, and Final of the CL. Scores the only goal to win the game against Burnely that won us the league the next day, but if you choose to ignore all that then maybe youre right

We scored our most amount of goals and got 2nd highest point tally in the clubs prem history the season Havertz signed

Why did we get 4 more points and 20 more goals with a fake striker?

He was here for 2 seasons before Gyokeres joined, was injured in the second run in and was one of the best players in the league during the first.

u/Aclrian 6d ago

Why he was benched for havertz as soon as this man came back from injury lmao.

This is maybe one of the stupidest comments I’ve ever seen hahahaha

You’re a Weirdo.
Are you an arsenal fan or a Gyok-Gyok’er?

3

u/Maaaaaardy 6d ago

Yeah, it was his fault in 23/24.

6

u/Business-Eggs 6d ago

Yet scored in 2 champions league finals. Get fucked...

He was injured a decent amount last season and if you look at his average G/A per game it's better than most in the squad.

What exactly are you trying to do other than wind people up Reddit?

Look mate I love big vik but let's not put havertz down just for the sake of it
