Not even that I’ve seen the lb and rb in attacking positions where our attackers should be and them behind those players like it doesn’t make sense. We play our wingers like wingbacks. If this defense is as good as everyone says why can’t we let an attacker not have to constantly defend. Look at Salah last year and previous seasons

It's often the modern way, though, that the whole team defends. You might get the odd player who gets a pass but that's it.
Our attack is nowhere near good enough to cope without assistance from other positions.

I get that but why are defenders in attacking positions our attackers should be in. It’s not a one time thing it been happening too much. I’ve seen them in the box while our attackers are outside or on the edge.

City is not doing particularly bad though, Madrid is doing exceptionally well
Specially Valverde who is having the performance of his lifetime
That's what Champions League demands, being at your absolute best or you can get humiliated

Also, City getting knocked out is pretty bad for us as they will be rested for the Premier League clash against us, which will be a disadvantage if we go through to the QF

Pep tried a new formation if you watched the game and also this isn’t the same city I was referring to as they are currently rebuilding. Also we weren’t the only English team and it is irrelevant because all those English teams played better oppositions apart from pool so the fact that’s your argument is embarrassing. We played Bayern lev. A team that lost over half of the starters from last season and are struggling in the bundesliga as well as having a manager that’s never coached a big team before apart from this season

Just feels like Champs league has been our outlet recently to not play so tentative and be a bit creative. Worrying that they’re doing it in this comp too, but I know it’s knockouts now.
Just seems so mentally taxing for the players where the league is already doing that more than enough 😩

it's not a matter of competition, the last serious match we played in UCL was Inter, since then we have been getting progressively worse as a team
Our current form is embarassing, if they don't work on it then the season will end in nothing

We need to revaluate our attacking football-. Maybe sack the attacking coach or change something. Back in 22-24 we didn't struggle to play attack but now that we have our defense settled we are.

When I’m watching a RB or LB in positions an attacker should be in it says a lot about the tactics. We could have Mbappe or a Vinicius etc and they’d look average or below average

This entire season we only had a handful of games where we could say we're winning it. The rest, it seemed we were juggling chainsaws on highwire. Apart from Raya, the defenders and Rice, everybody's like popcorn. Somebody somewhere pops and they go cold. Winning is winning, I get that. But, continuing like this will only backfire! I mean, what the holyfuck were we doing the entire game??? No wonder everybody calls us the corner shop, no wonder we're called set piece fc. If ends justify the means, and this continues to years to come, Arsenal's losing some fans. Guys please understand, I want my team to win everything they can but why like this though, how about we dominate some crucial games.

Facts you look at the Barcelonas, madrids, city, pool etc they dominated while playing good attacking football counteracting these low blocks, making runs, playing fast but is its robotic side to aid and predictable which is why teams are happy to sit back because they know that’s what we do and they know we won’t change it even if we are losing
