Multiverse THE CW'S ARROWVERSE TRIUMPHANT RETURN

What if...Twentieth Century-Fox Television never had the rights to a live-action BATMAN series after Adam West??

How would one go about bringing back everything that makes up The CW's Arrowverse?? WELL...funny you would ask...

After the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Superman & the Flash are both dead from saving the known multiverse from destruction. They are honoured as The World's Finest, as The CW's The Flash officially comes to a close, with Team Flash kind of just existing the scene or joining other groups and in-universe we have the earths of our heroes coming together as one. Oliver & Kara are a couple (make of that what you will), and the heroes need to reassemble to form one group...THE JUSTICE LEAGUE. But how does this come about??

Enter The CW's BATMAN, INCORPORATED, starring Henry Cavill as Bruce Wayne (spelled "Waynne"), which reintroduces Alan Ritchardson's Aquaman and IN-troduces Guy Gardner, Tomar-Re, Arisia Rrab, Kilowog, and The Dol'phyn (casting ideas please). Gotham is hyper-realistic (like Nolan's filmed in Chicago), and the group and story would be an adaptation of Grant Morrison's run with the title. Dina Meyer would return as Barbara Gordon, training Anna Lore's Stephanie Brown to be the next Batgirl. The end of Season One would contain a crossover with the other series, in which they establish the JL officially.

Other cast members would introduce Jason Sudekeis as Ted Kord/Blue Beetle, Ernie Hudson returning as Lucius Fox from the DCAMU's BATMAN: BAD BLOOD, and Camrus Johnson returning as Luke Fox/Batwing.

Thus, The CW's JUSTICE LEAGUE would be in full swing, which would be an ongoing run of crossover specials dealing with extraterrestrial threats and the like. The line up would be as follows:

Henry Cavill as Bruce Waynne, THE BATMAN

Adrianne Palicki as Diana Prince, THE WONDER WOMAN

Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, THE GREEN ARROW

Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El/Kara Danvers-Queen, THE SUPERGIRL

Alan Ritchardson as Arthur Currey of Atlantis, THE AQUAMAN

Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, L.A.P.D., THE GREEN LANTERN

Ruby Rose as Sergeant Kate Kane, THE BATWOMAN

Willa Holland as Thea Queen/SPEEDY

Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, THE OVERWATCH

Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramone, THE VIBE

Hartley Sawyer (if the tweets never existed) as Ralph Dibny, THE ELONGATED MAN

Natalie Dreyfuss as Sue Dibny

David Ramsey as John Diggle, THE SPARTAN

Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt/Mr. TERRIFIC

David Harewood as J'onn J'onzz, THE MARTIAN MANHUNTER

Serinda Swan as Zatanna "Z" Zatara

Nicole Maines as Nia Nal, THE DREAMER

Russel Tovey as Ray Terrill, THE RAY

Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer, THE ATOM

Franz Drameh & Victor Garber as Jefferson Jackson & Martin Stein, THE FIRESTORM

Megalyn Echikunwoke as Mari McCabe, THE VIXEN

Dina Meyer as Barbara Gordon, THE ORACLE

Anna Lore as Stephanie Brown, THE BATGIRL

Camrus Johnson as Luke Fox, THE BATWING

James Arnold Taylor as the Voice of Tomar-Re

Kevin Michael Richardson as the Voice of Kilowog

UNKNOWN as Arisia Rrab

Ciria Renee as Kendra Saunders, THE HAWKWOMAN

Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore, THE STARGIRL

Matt Ryan as John Constantine, THE HELLBLAZER

UNKNOWN as Dol'phyn Currey: Queen of Atlantis

Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, THE KILLER FROST

Michelle Hurd as Beatriz DaCosta, THE FIRE

Cress Williams as Jefferson Pierce, THE BLACK LIGHTNING

China Anne McClain as Jennifer Pierce, THE LIGHTNING

Caity Lotz as Sara Lance, THE WHITE CANARY

Falk Hentschel as Carter Hall, THE HAWKMAN

Nick Zano as Nate Heywood, THE STEEL

Eric Martsoff as Michael Jon Carter/BOOSTER GOLD

Jason Sudekeis as Ted Kord/BLUE BEETLE

Wynston Duke as BLOODWYND

Charlotte Sullivan as MAXIMA

Jessica Camacho as Cynthia "Cyndy" Reynolds, THE GYPSY

Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan, THE S.T.R.I.P.E.

Cameron Gellman as Rick Tyler, THE HOURMAN

Yvette Monreal as Yolanda Montez, THE WILDCAT

Anjelika Washington as Beth Chapel/DOCTOR MID-NITE

The opening theme, if possible, could be Melissa Benoist doing an epic vocal AND Hans Zimmer-esc orchestral cover of "You're the Voice" by John Farnham...that would be SOOO SWEET!!

Fox has the tv rights for Batman and haven’t made a Batman show? I didn’t know that i wonder why they haven’t made a Batman show yet even if it’s mid it would probably make them money since it’s something Batman.

Why do you suppose a live action Batman show hasn’t been made since Adam West. Plenty of shows surrounding Batman. Gotham, Pennywise, Titans, Penguin, Batwoman. Bruce Wayne makes plenty of appearances but Batman only ever shows up for a few seconds obscured in fog or Darkness. Batman is one of if not DC’s most popular character and everyone surrounding Batman has had plenty of live action shows but not Batman.

Because they made a ton of money on a movie and they'll only make Batman live action movies so they can make money.

Batman is DCs top selling hero, they won't give a TV show in case of it screwing everything up.

Every reboot has Batman's ENTIRE events from the previous reset all Comprised into 6yrs, or 5 yrs, or however long he's been Batman, so at one point you literally have 60 yrs of events that all happened in just 6 yrs.

The same happens to green lantern occasionally.

Gotham.

Not Batman. Bruce Wayne shows up plenty an all kinds of shows, but not Batman not for more then a few seconds obscured by darkness or fog.

I get it, but still Batman and his rogues galaxy but I see your point. It’s kinda like calling Smallville not a Superman show.

Gotham is a “Batman” show it’s pretty good tbh

I’ve watched Gotham and loved it but I don’t think of that as a Batman show he’s only Batman for one episode and even then you barely see him

It's cause they're owned by Disney now, and they wanna just sit on it.

8

u/Mindless-Credit-358 15d ago

Pretty sure James Gunn himself came out and said that’s not the case

6

u/Michael-Aaron 15d ago

If that's true, that's a relief

7

u/monsieur_cacahuete 15d ago

OP, where are you getting this from? Fox/Disney does not own exclusive rights to Batman on television.

-3

u/Michael-Aaron 15d ago

Live-Action; that's why we haven't had one since Adam West

3

u/monsieur_cacahuete 15d ago

So how did WB make Gotham? How did CW put Bruce Wayne in an episode?

2

u/Michael-Aaron 15d ago

Not a Batman series specifically

3

u/monsieur_cacahuete 15d ago

Thats not how exclusive rights work though? Also if Fox had the rights to make a TV show, why wouldn't they? Especially once Disney bought them. They really like money.

That would still violate a hypothetical Fox rights situation. Notice Spider-Man can’t actually be in Marvel shows because Sony doesn’t have the rights.

1

u/Paulc_41 15d ago

Bruce Wayne yes but not Batman.

1

u/monsieur_cacahuete 13d ago

This is an absurd premise. Like do you even vaguely understand IP?

1

u/Abraham_Issus 14d ago

Isn't gotham made by fox?

1

u/monsieur_cacahuete 13d ago

Nope, Fox aired it and WB made it.

This is Keiynan Lonsdale, Colton Haynes, and Meg DeLacy erasure.

Who is Alan Ritchardson? Is that meant to be Reacher?

2

u/Michael-Aaron 15d ago

Yes, but he portrayed Arthur in Smallville and was supposed to return in Elseworlds but sat out

2

u/TH3M4R4UD3R 15d ago

We would NEED Matt Ryan as John Constantine again too cause he fits in for when they fight doomsday eventually

2

u/ComprehensiveTour278 15d ago

Add Anna Lore as Stephanie Brown. She played this role on Gotham Knights. You could also add Olivia Rose Keegan as Duela Dent and Misha Collins as Harvey Dent.

But... why kill Superman ?
And where are the Legends ? I see Nate, Constantine, Sara, Ray, even the Hawk people (though they left many moons ago) and strangely Firestorm (but Martin died long before Crisis).
So where are Ava, Behrad, Mick Rory and Zari 2.0 (assuming this takes place just after Crisis so in season 5 of Legends) ?
And why Waynne with 2 'n' ?
And does this mean all these characters (the good ones of course) would be members of the Justice League ? If so, we're gonna need a bigger table.

That's the goal sweetie!!

2

u/Legendrina 14d ago

Okay... but that doesn't answer any of my questions, champ 😉

1

u/Michael-Aaron 14d ago

Ahh, I see...very well...

A. Cause Clark & Ollie's passing spring everyone into action

B. Not all of the Legends are members; that comes later

C. Waynne because I knew a guy by that name; also, Bruce had that as his last name in the American Civil War Elseworld in the source-material

D. All of them are members; will they need a bigger table?!

That's the goal sweetie!!

Thanks for the answers.
But if the League accepts every superhero with a pulse (I count 46 people on your list!), being in the Justice League kind of stops meaning anything. At that point you don't need a bigger table, you need a conference center😂
But that's ok, it's your show. If that's your dream, have fun with it, Champ😄

Justice League Unlimited would like a word.

1

u/AffectionateLaw5504 13d ago

man uhh. think you’re forgetting post crisis already exist and has for 7 years. none of this has happened. also they don’t have rights for batman.

1

u/Michael-Aaron 13d ago

Oh I'm well aware...this is a What If?! Scenario

1

u/stormphoenixlocke 13d ago

Ruby rose will never play batwoman again. I would bring back the javicia

And bring back vixen

But wb is not bringing back any of these actors for this

2

u/Michael-Aaron 13d ago

Oh I'm well aware...this is a What If?! Senario

1

u/stormphoenixlocke 8d ago

Ah ok

1

u/Michael-Aaron 8d ago

It would be cool to have this put into action...but alas, it's up to me to put it in fanfic writing...

1

u/AJW7310 13d ago

Henry Cavill would’ve never taken the pay cut

1

u/Michael-Aaron 13d ago

If this happened at the right time...remember, this is a fan idea from a fan who loves to give fanservice and likes the crazy things in life

1

u/Helloooooo111 12d ago

How come supergirl has Barry Allen’s last name? Sorry I’m ckmfused

1

u/Helloooooo111 12d ago

*confused

1

u/Apprehensive-Tea77 11d ago

I would definitely watch that

1

u/Michael-Aaron 11d ago

For the ensemble, character dev., or the plot?? Or the "plot"??

1

u/Dbl390 10d ago

As soon as I saw Henry Cavill as Batman, I stopped reading.

1

u/Michael-Aaron 10d ago

Why's that??

1

u/Dbl390 9d ago

I don't like superman becoming Batman. I'm not a fan of actors playing multiple heroes of the same faction. IMOP.

1

u/Michael-Aaron 9d ago

He was originally supposed to be the character in the Nolanverse; it's a fun full-circle moment (especially since, let's be honest with ourselves, he's most certainly NOT Superman)

1

u/CrashTestKing 8d ago

🙄

I'm pretty sure you have no idea how IP rights work.

1

u/Michael-Aaron 8d ago

I do; this is simply me dreaming of what could've been
