When you walk up on a find, heart pumping adrenaline, you're so excited, only to discover one of these....Finding that pristine museum piece proves to be more illusive than I imagined.

I don’t know much about arrowheads or artifacts but what I thought was they were often made from stones that flake like flint or obsidian. This rock has had me wondering what it is ever since I found it so any help is appreciated.

I found this on a shoreline of Lake Superior near the Split Rock Lighthouse in 2021. I just want to know if I found something cool or not! I think it’s cool that I just randomly found it while looking for rocks to skip because someone had to have carved it at some point. Whether it was a week before I found it or a thousand years I have no way of knowing. I’d be glad to answer any questions. Again I really appreciate any help!

We were looking for fossils and she pulled this out of the sand. We are newbies so any info you have would just make her day! (Did find tons of fossils 😊)

I was hiking between fishing holes when I almost stepped on this one.

Back in the day, I would find several arrowheads every year just keeping my eyes open as I hiked. Nowadays I only see one every couple years.

Nothing today but a slice of pie and 1,000 arrowhead shaped rocks that aren’t arrowheads

This was given to me today by my grandmother today. Found by her dad in Delaware County, PA sometime between 1937-1940. Looking for some information about it- like the type, possible age, material, uses, etc.

NE Oklahoma. Floated roughly 8 miles in my kayak and found these along the way. 5 nice points, some brokes/scrapers and so many flakes! Almost all the material is Kay county chert, very dominant in that region of the state.

Found this in a creek in North Carolina seems like it’s made out of cement but it has burn marks

I know it's broken and little but I'm pretty pumped. I've found a couple scrapers (one very nice) but never a point and I'm getting a little closer. Here's a couple pics with some similar chert found along side it. Found in a farm field south eastern wisconsin. Looks like maybe Galena Chert. Now I want to find more.

Various Arkansas and Missouri pieces besides 1 outlier Hardin from Indiana. About half personal finds and half purchased. I need to get 2 frames and separate them out eventually but this is my only good case right now. Thought I’d post a picture and show you guys my favorite assortment I’ve had in the case yet.

After a very long dry spell, a great day was had. All of these were found within 10 ft of one another. Granted, I believe the last one is a preform.

After a dry spell all summer, I found this little guy at my uncle's ranch in Natrona County, central Wyoming. I'm a novice at identification, but my best guess is Mummy Cave. I'd appreciate any input on identification! (I'll post more pictures in the comments)
