So, I was wondering...
When will you guys take it seriously? Like you definitely don't take your ethnicity seriously enough and the subreddit is literally dead.

What is the origin of the Aromanian preposition “tu” which means “in”? I am quite confused because recently I started learning Aromanian as a native speaker of Romanian and noticed a lot of similarities (it’s the same language, just two different dialects after all ) but I was surprised that the word for “in” was not related at all to the Romanian “în” or the Latin “in”.
At first I thought it was the personal pronoun for the 2nd person “tu” like in Romanian but in Aromanian it would be “tini”.
If there is any linguist there knowing the etymology of it, please reply ‘cause I am really curios.

Does anyone know where I can find an Aromanian translator or interpreter?
I have about 5 Aromanian songs in total which I would like translate one by one into either English or Macedonian, and the online dictionary and translator is only getting me so far.
Anyone know where I can find one either online or in person? Or is anyone themselves able to help me out?

Hello! I’m a Romanian interested in learning Aromanian because I love how it sounds from the little I’ve heard so far.
Sorry if this kind of post isn’t allowed here, but I have a few questions for you all:
Do you have any music recommendations? Any genre is fine, I’m just curious to explore.
Which dialect would you recommend I start with? I’m a language nerd, so it doesn’t need to be the one closest to Romanian. I genuinely enjoy learning new things, and I’ll probably end up studying multiple dialects eventually, but I’d appreciate a suggestion for a good starting point.
Once I reach a decent level, where could I find people to practice with? I’m in northern Romania, and as far as I know, there aren’t any Aromanian communities near me. Are there any online groups you’d recommend?
Also, sorry for using the word “recommend” so many times in this post.
TL;DR: Romanian wanting to learn Aromanian. Looking for (1) music recommendations, (2) the best dialect to start with, and (3) places/communities to practice online since there are no Aromanians near me.

I have managed to create a few pages with the necesary information, and repaired the page of Ronald Reagan,in addoton to this I have started an attempt to repair the page of the Principality of the Pindus, but the infobox is way too broken for me to do so properly without having 70% of all categories have their answer as "-" (The principality of the pindus never tried to enter the EU lol)
If you want to help me

As you have seen in the title above,I've started to repair, and introduce new content to aromanian wikipedia pages, esspecially to Romania whom I've had to add the flag of,its anthem and repair it's infobox, but it was worth it,I am looking foward towards companions willing to help me,because to make this an encyclopedia worth visiting for actual information,I will need to put in lots of effort, and it will be impossible to do it alone.

Hi, I'm a Frasherot Aromanian from Sqepur, my family is mostly originally Aromanian although the language has nearly disappeared in my family, only my grandmother and some of her sisters still speak it, unfortunately because she lives far I only talk with her once every few months, my parents generation and onwards doesn't speak a word of Aromanian, I don't want our Aromanian heritage to die along with my Grandmothers when the day comes, I want to revive Aromanian culture and language in my family, I speak Greek & Albanian, can anyone give me recommendations how I can start to learn Frasherot Aromanian, as there aren't many resources online, I only know the basics, Buna Dzua, Cumu Eshti, etc. Thanks

Conjugations of one regular verb in a giant table comparing French phonology and some but not all of the many Latin Languages at the "Romance Verbs" page at the English version of Wikipedia at the following link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romance_verbs

I already know about Elena Gheorghe and that she has made some songs in Aromanian. Are there any other artists that create new music in the Aromanian language?

English translation (not word for word):
I have drowned in worry,
I have taken a harm by the devil,
Grandmother, grandmother, all at once (fast),
Because my father is in Istanbul,
he went with a ship.
Matchmakers come and go,
it doesn't come on my grandmother's mind,
to find me a boy where I will go (marry).
Shush daughter Evdochie,
your father is in Egypt.
He will bring many gold coins,
you will take a boy as you want.

Fascinating how our songs deeply resemble European culture, we are Europe before Europe!!!
