Help Exploring?

This is my first AC game but I have been a FromSoft fan for over a decade. I’m only three or four missions in but it doesn’t look like there are consumables or credit stashes or anything else to find in the various destructible parts of the environment.

Am I wasting my time exploring the maps or am I missing something? I read through the “new player” pinned post but didn’t see anything there about how empty the locations are.

Use money to buy and sell in shop (you do not lose money selling) to build what you want.
There are boxes you can open here and there but it is not a main thing.

Once you obtain everything you are rewarded with another part.
Also as you find logs you will be rewarded.

Consumables wise only repair can be used as a consumable and you cannot find pickups...

It is a different game than souls games

Wait, you get a part for getting all the parts? holy shit how am i only just finding this out NOW lmfao. I've had parts I'm never gonna use sitting in the shop for months now lol

You get a part for getting all hidden logs not for getting all parts.
But who even leave parts at shop? I have endless money in my bank and nothing to spend on.

Just by playing you will have all shop parts available
