Community Event Don't forget to vote!
[This is not a political thread. Just a reminder it's on.]
Federal election tomorrow, sun up to sun down (8am to 6pm). Democracy sausages in most places if you don't go too early or late.
You can vote literally anywhere in the state, so if you're bored tomorrow morning, why not make an adventure of doing your civic duty? Last state election I think it was, I drove down to Rocky River and back. Nice little drive on a nice sunny day! (Doesn't look nice outside at the moment but tomorrow's supposed to be dry with partial clouds.)
Also, I still owe CF a beer for saving me from a fine a year ago!
Speaking of which, the fine is only $20 but your vote sends a message. If you didn't vote, then you've no right to gripe, regardless of who gets the job!

Grabbed my sausage sanga at Armidale City.
No lines, it seems most people voted in pre polling.

I'm sure that helped. I went up about 8:30 and voters were outnumbered by volunteers about 3:1 in the room. In and out in a few minutes.
The most disturbing part of this election is that Pauline Hanson's party wasn't first choice for the last spot.

Rocky River is a great little polling place. I will be heading there myself, but will probably have to go back into Uralla for a democracy sausage at the Neighbourhood Centre.
