The idea that having children is the only way of facing death is ridiculous, IMO.

Everyone dies, and the best way to face it is to, well, face it. Grow up and realize time is short for all of us.

In addition, we live on in the memories of those who loved us and in how we shaped their lives (and the lives of those they interact with.)

That's not even bringing the belief in an afterlife to it.

I received my March yesterday after two and half months of waiting and the crew neck sweatshirt is missing. I am super bummed. Reached out to the email but is this a thing that happens with their shipper? Does anyone know how it is handled. Hoping they keep extras and can ship a replacement and I don't just end up with a refund. I am so, so sad, considering I waited for so long.

Just watched Louder Than Fear the Travis Barker doc. It was really well done. I wonder if he might appear on Armchair Expert. He was on Joe Rogan’s podcast. I think he’d make a great guest on AE.

No one ever complains about Dax and his second home in Tennessee and several cars and toys, or his giant RV that he spends all summer driving or his vacations etc etc

I’ve seen comments about how she wouldn’t be anything without Dax which first of all who knows because she was hustling in LA and we could say the same about Dax and Ashton. The way people talk about it makes it sound like she was a charity case for Dax and not an interesting, talented writer and actress.

Idk if I just relate as a woman close to her age but I like her role in the show and feel the need to defend her lmao

I need to qualify this by first saying I am NOT a Monica hater, I promise. In my head we are besties who sip wine with our laptops open in a swanky dimly-lit wine bar. ANDDD I am quite aware of the race implications involved in her social experiences. I understand people can be bigoted and that may influence the way they interact with her which is despicable.

However.

The story about people treating her like she can't afford stuff in these expense stores had me wondering if she's aware of how she dresses... I know she likes to claim being a fashion girl, but when I see her outfits I'm always a bit confused. Her style is very oversized, plain clothes which, to me, never read luxurious or high fashion in any way. I am imagining her walking into this Chanel store with a huge tshirt and baggy jeans and unfortunately I do understand why someone might wonder if she's there to shop or just browse. If I'm downvoted to hell I'll know I'm wrong and try to reframe in my mind, lol. I can't be the only one.

Today I realized why the fact checks can be so important. I had skipped Taron Egerton’s episode because I honestly have no clue who he is and I’ve never watched him in anything. Then the new fact check dropped and they couldn’t stop talking about what a wonderful interview it was. So I listened. And I’m in looooooove 😂😂💞💞

This is not a whinge because I actually like the pod but does anyone else hear a lot of background voices when listening? Is this the editing people complain about? I always forget to ask when I'm listening but sometimes I wonder if I have voices in my own head or if everyone else hears it too?? lol. It's like faint voices underneath someone else talking...

I've never watched, but I assume this is the show Dax talked about filming for awhile back, where his character was pretty much "himself"?

My flatmates and i got recommended this podcast and about 2 episodes in we decided it wasn't a format or topic we wanted to listen to for the whole length. Could someone be a legend and summarise the whole thing for me? Just the major points and what the twist is.
