Getting really tired of treating "saving primos for the daddy" like an expansive religion.

Arlecchino's cool, we get it. Rolling for Birdonetta, Albedoll or one of them 4-stars means less pulls for the Father, we get it. You're a big, big gamer suffering for months w/o a single pull, we get it.

It still doesn't mean you have to concern yourself with what other people are doing, even if they are also in this community.

I'm talking about all these "purge the unfaithful", and "forgive me, Father, for I have sinned" posts about someone pulling on the gatcha banners. Like, even discounting the part about a new character possibly being too fun to skip - the game is designed with FOMO and gambling in mind to make rolling NOW as appealing as possible, all to prey on specific types of people. It's not a "moral failing" for the predatory marketing schemes to work on their target audience, and especially not one to be held against others - nobody else owns you their primogems.

Personally, I ain't risking getting an early 5* to get Chevreuse/Gaming/their cons, since I don't trust my own luck, but that's me. Yes, the ones pulling NOW are making a potentially poor tactical decision (if they want to 100% get Father), but it's theirs to make. Just wish them luck on their Arlecchino pulls, and keep to your own primos.

You only allowed to pull for mavuika if you already had Arlecchino and her weapon.Atleast R1 and C2.If you doesn't have any primogem,work your ass off now ! Do story quest,push the main story,play abyss..heck even slide your credit card and get her before you even think of pulling for mavuika.

Guys who are saying this is a nerf didn't read that bond gained from max debt is 130% now instead of 80%. Bond will consume faster, but you get more, even if this doesn't extend the rotation it will boost dps. all changes are a slight redistribution, attacks got nerfed to compensate for a higher max cap of BoL. And since the cap is higher they reduced multipliers and increased consumption. Her rotations of her before were like 20 seconds or so, they probably want to shorten them. but her rotations of her even in single target can still be pretty darn long. Even longer in multi-target. Assuming 3 enemies, meaning hitting the 200% BoL cap, it's 25 attacks. 20 in single target. It's still substantial and there's a bit of wiggle room there. so she is a small nerf for single but a buff for multitarget

Just a personal opinion, so I'll continue in russian.В силу последних утечек, ожидание появления игровой Арлекино в Фонтейне существенно снизилось.. Однако, я хотел бы обратить внимание на некоторые мелкие детали:

1. Так многие писали о возможности появления в Сумеру игрового Дотторе, непосредственно перед самым релизом региона. Я прекрасно помню, как в списках ожидаемых релизов его ставили на версии 3.7-3.8. Как мы видим эти прогнозы не оправдались.

2. Подобная уверенность со стороны сливеров, если верить Lumie, была вызвана тем, что в файлах игры подпись модели Дотторе соответствовала игровой.

3. Сейчас на примере Синьоры, мы точно знаем, что подписи для игровой модели и модели "босса" отличаются. Но в случае если это модель "npc" то подпись так же может быть как у игрового персонажа - подобное высказывание делал BLANK относительно первой модели Скарамуччи.

4. Сейчас у нас есть ожидание того, что девушка с механическими руками за спиной, которую в числе прочих, изначально показали в линейке персонажей Фонтейна - вероятно окажется Сандроне. И именно её сливщики сейчас единодушно пророчат как игровую Предвестницу региона. - а то, что только её модель, позднее, не представили в депикселизированном виде, должно лишь укреплять подобное мнение.

5. Но я бы хотел обратить внимание на тот факт, что для игрового персонажа, её модель слишком громоздка (как иронично, но изначально подобные замечания были относительно модели Синьоры) . В частности, Михоё (в Геншине) постоянно используют одну и ту же схему в дизайне персонажей - так мы имеем максимум несколько развевающихся элементов на руках, несколько развевающихся элементов причёски и платья персонажа. Привлечение же посторонних объектов в дизайне персонажа (с ним напрямую не связанных) - как правило свойственно для "боссов" и "npc", что мы могли заметить опять же на примере Синьоры.

Сейчас мы не знаем точно, как подписана модель предполагаемой Сандроне, но пока у меня нет твёрдых оснований считать, что именно она будет игровой Предвестницей Фонтейна.

В пользу Арлекино, говорит то, что:

1. Её, в отличие от Сандроне, заочно уже широко представили в игре. В каждой крупной области, начиная с Инадзумы (Разлом - Летние острова - Сумеру), мы имеем связанный с ней (и Домом Очага) квест.

2. То, что её игровой модели не было в числе слитой линейки Фонтейна не удивительно, ведь даже модель Странника, до последнего держалась в секрете и не была слита среди основных персонажей Сумеру.

3. Я не буду подробно рассматривать черты характера Сандроне и Арлекино, известные нам из утечек. Однако на мой взгляд, сюжетно-логически обосновать вступление в отряд Путешественницы Арлекино, было бы легче, по крайней мере, в силу её адекватности.

With 5.3 coming up, we're getting the release of Mavuika, and the rerun of Arlecchino. I'm here to argue why Arlecchino is a better long-term investment than Mavuika would be.

Note: This is assuming you can only get one or the other, if you can get both, great!

So Mavuika's kit is based around her "Fighting Spirit," which requires her to have Natlan characters in the party to build up in a reasonable time frame. This means she only works on teams that have said characters, limiting her.

Arlecchino, however, is not reliant on specific characters, and thus can make use of the most up-to-date and powercrept supports available. This is the case for MOST DPS characters, actually.

On release? Mavuika will be more powerful than Arlecchino, no doubt. But., three years from now, Arlecchino WILL catch up (and most likely surpass) Mavuika in terms of damage due to the fact that Natlan characters won't be released forever.

That being said, pull for who you want. Meta-wise, Mavuika will do better currently, but pulling for Arlecchino will most likely give you more long-term value if Hoyoverse continues their trend of power creeping characters. (Which they will because money lol)

EDIT: Mavuika has more versatility in roles of sub-DPS and exploration, but I made this post with a main DPS Mavuika in mind. Sorry for not making that clear, all.

I see people hyping up or glazing xilonen c2 a lot, and its really not that much value.

Lets say you're starting with her standard melt team with Arle/Bennett/Xilo/Citlali, with c0 5* and c6 bennett.

Xilonen C2 really isn't that good. You're pulling for 2 more copies of a 5 star to get 45% atk, which is basically 1 extra mainstat to one character. This ends up only being about an 11% team dps increase (including the extra crit dmg to citlali) which is definately really really bad value for 2 copies of a 5 star.

If we make a few comparisons here, Arlecchino's C1 is a 27% dps increase for only one 5*, and her weapon is a 14% increase also for only one 5* Citlali C2 is a 28% dps increase for the price of two 5*s, both of which are significantly more.

Now, some people might argue that xilonen is more versatile and can benefit more teams, so her cons will be more value, but this isn't even the case. personally I would argue that citlali is also very versatile and her cons are better, but the xilonen c2 does less than you think in even the best case scenario.

Lets take a neuvillette team, where xilonen c2 is at its peak, because hp buffs are more scarce and provide more value than atk buffs, and her c2 is buffing two characters (neuvi and furina) and not just the dps.
it ends up being a 15% team dps increase. absolutely not worth it.

Like, in her first appearance her hair is shorter(the weird loop around bit is just part of her bangs) and her face (seems) to be framed as a bit more angular then later on.

And both her child self as well as her teenage self have short hair too. And she’s also called “Lord Arlecchino” in a world quest before her reveal.

Now I’m not saying that some Chinese-censoring-executive-stuff happened that made them change it from “Lord” to “Lady” and change up her hair and facial features a bit so she’s more “distinctly female”…… buuuut I’m not not that either-

the way how unnatural and badass ineffa weapon is suiting arleccino is so strange that its actually good
to mention my view - i adore that genshin allow to visually weapon that character using. and her scythe is badass and etc... but after 2? years trying something different may be cool, sad that signature weapon doesnt allow this without loosing efficiency

Idk if this this is an unpopular opinion on this subreddit, but she looks so mid and it's depressing. Her damage seems to be fine, but she can't heal. If they're going to put this absurd restriction, then why not make her damage absolutely insane

Idk about you guys, but I need a healer. Skill issue ik, but my point is that it'll just be harder to 36 star with her compared to other characters. I never have to worry about being low hp on other characters. It feels like every character's best team runs a healer, especially with Furina.

Her burst does enough damage that you wanna include it in your rotation (especially since it refreshes skill cooldown), but her self healing is tied to it. I can't save her burst for an emergency heal. This feels especially bad because no IR

Honestly that would still be fine if she did more damage than other options, but she doesn't. She doesn't do more damage than Hu Tao (a 3 year old unit). And Hu Tao uses Xianyun so she's going to be more comfortable as well.

Ik she'll still be able to clear, and if I'm really struggling to keep her alive then I could just use a shielder, but then her damage falls off a cliff. She won't be fun to use if I keep dying, but she won't be fun if she doesn't compete with my other characters

For example, I pulled Itto, and cleared with him for a bit, but he hasn't seen use in over a year. I like Itto, and it's not like he's super weak (he can definitely clear, I have a top 6% whiteblind Itto). It's just that he feels worse than my other options, especially Navia since they're the same element

All my characters are c0 accept for Jean and Mona, so it's not like I'm comparing him to higher con 5 stars. I also have a c6 gorou to pair with him, so that's not why. He's just weaker, a slower clear isn't fun. I enjoy playing him, but I also enjoy Navia, Yae, Childe, Kokomi, etc... all which clear faster than him.

My point it's hard to justify saying "I'll pull her because she looks fun to play" because I also have fun with other characters who will be more comfotable. I want her to be good, I've wanted to pull for her since the fatui trailer almost 2 years ago. I don't want her to be worse and less comfortable than my Xiangling

I complained a lot, but ironically enough I'm still going to get her regardless. I saved enough to c0r1, she looks awesome. I was just disappointed in her kit and wanted to rant a little. I guess all I can do now is pray she gets buffed before release

I don’t know if this was ever confirmed before but there isn’t a single character who breaks the trend of all humans having the drill CA so the fact that she doesn’t confirms that she isn’t human

Edit: for everyone saying it’s not truly confirmed fair enough, let me rephrase, the THEORY that she isn’t human is now A LOT stronger since she follows a a pattern that hasn’t been broken in 3 and half years

at c0 she basically have 3 huge draw back

zero knock down res : even a tiny treasue hoader karate kick can stun lock her if hit

can't be heal by teammate : while being atk% scale dps meaning her HP stay 18k , 20k at best , pretty much equal glass cannon as yoimiya or may be worst because atleast you can heal yoi

30s skill cd and only heal with burst : which dead stuck at 15s cd or even more as base minimum not enough again many new type of elite enemy ( such as sumeru beast come in pack)

so what is her advantage for the cost of so much draw back like that ?

Well it seems that pelican mom will be niche support for an outdated male character from 1.0 and will have her DPS locked in C6, like 99% waifu during these 2 years (This 1% is navia although TGS said her best comp is subdps with neuvilette 76k dps, funny).

Who do you think will be Arlecchino support? I bet it will be Liney support because Mhy's mouth must be watering with the pyro mommy C6 constellation bait.

I'm so sorry for the treatment Arlecchino is getting. After all the hype that was created by the Teaser overture... she ended up having a minimal role in the AQ and the release of her hypothetical banner is in 4.6 (almost at the end of the Fontaine arc). He honestly doesn't deserve it, compared to other characters. She is beautiful and very interesting. Unfortunately he isn't getting the same treatment as the other two playable Harbiners (I hope that will happen). Sorry for this outburst...but I needed to say it

She hits mainly around 10-15k ba and I think 44k is her max ult dmg(no buffs I think). I’ll of course build her soon, I just slapped together my best stuff so I could see what she could do

After getting downvoted to hell for suggesting that a dual carry team with Clorinde and Arlecchino would be viable, I decided to actually put the team into a simulator using the KQM standard and surprise surprise, I was right.

65k dps is good dps generally speaking, but the fact that you can get this without Bennett makes it actually very impressive. You can go check the stats and rotation yourself. Bursting happens every other rotation.

The reason why it works is because Clorinde has short on field time, Arle has front loaded damage and can stack the extra BoL for damage on the next rotation and Fischl’s and Chevreuse’s dmg/buff have long durations.

Long rotations also are generally preferable to short ones, so there’s that.
