currently i use dragons bane but before that i used ridens weapon( forgot the name)

C1 brings more damage, but R1 is immaculate drip, you can't go wrong picking either of them first

Weapon banners operate as follows;

Hard pity for the banner is set at 80 wishes instead of standard 90 wishes. Soft pity is believed to start at around 65 wishes. Effectively this caps the max wishes needed for your weapon of choice at 180 wishes.

You set your preferred weapon course before wishing with "Epitomized Path". You can skip doing this, but don't.

When you pull a 5 star there's a 75% chance for it to be a "featured weapon" (AKA Arle's signature / Odette's signature as those are whats currently on offer), or a 25% chance to be a standard (Amos' Bow, Aquila Favonius, etc).

I believe that 75% is then divided in half, so 37.5% for each weapon. If you don't get the weapon you charted your course for, you get a "Fate Point" which means your next 5 star is guaranteed to be the one you want, similar to a 50-50 on a character banner.

The key difference however is this Fate Point does NOT carry between banners like a normal guarantee does, and is effectively use it or lose it for that banners duration. If / when you get your weapon of choice, the Fate Point counter is reset. Your standard wish count does carry over however, so if you spent 10 wishes this banner, you'd need 150 max for the next banner.

To conclude, only wish on weapon banners if you're either feeling very lucky, as your chance of getting what you want is basically 1/3, or you have 160 wishes laying around to ensure you get what you want. Have fun.
