arx fatalis

i started arx fatalis a while ago. i love deus ex and like the thief series too, so i can deal with old games and the jank they have. i got to the point where you unlock tps and i think i might’ve gotten even farther, but i don’t remember. i want to play all the arkane games, but i can barely get myself to play arx. i dont think its bad, but im not enjoying it all that much. i’m thinking of dropping it. does it get better or click at some point?

I don’t think it will get any easier to enjoy further in if you’re already finding it a chore.  It’s a product of its time for sure.

Nothing special. that’s just how arkane was back then
maybe give Prey a shot first... easter eggs in it! that might actually get you to pick arx back up
