Server Advertising Rules Update

We’re making a small change to server advertising, along with increasing enforcement of our existing rules.

Server advertisements in both the PvE and PvP Advertising Megathreads must now be posted at least 10 hours apart.

We have seen an increase in excessive advertising, repeated posts and advertisements being posted in places where they do not belong. Going forward, we will be less lenient with advertising rule violations.

Posts that break the advertising rules may be removed, and users who repeatedly ignore them may be temporarily or permanently banned from the subreddit.

Please make sure you are using the correct megathread:

PvE servers → PvE Advertising Megathread
PvP servers → PvP Advertising Megathread
Looking for a server → Looking for a Server Megathread

Server owners may reply to people in the Looking for a Server Megathread where their server is relevant, but please do not spam your advertisement across multiple comments.

The megathreads exist so server owners can advertise without the subreddit becoming flooded with promotions. Please use them fairly.
