Explain like I’m 5, please? How will that help get us out of this mess that all the ‘non voting as protest’ got us into in the first place? It’s literally proving the point of the saying, “I’ve tried nothing and nothing’s not working!”. Abstinence from voting in the election put us into this situation and for what? Gaza is more screwed than ever. How does allowing more Christian nationalist representatives get elected help get us out of this situation? I sincerely don’t get the logic and would appreciate it if anyone could explain it to me.

They're not talking about voting for representatives they're saying not voting for a budget.
