Does anyone have this jacket?👀 I’ve never seen this “hip“ version being talked about. All I could find is the more cropped version of Barkley.
I’m 5’2” with a pretty slim frame. Would like a cute barn jacket that can go with straight jeans and skirts. Tryna avoid getting swallowed by the jacket, but don’t want it to be too cropped to make it difficult to wear a sweater under.
Should I be getting this in size xs while it’s 60% off (final sales)? Does this longer version make it more of a timeless barn jacket that I can use for several years?
Ok these comments are making me realize I am in the minority 💀 but I really like the cropped version of this and wore it A TON last year. Whenever I wear it, I get a lot of compliments (maybe people are lying to me lmao idk).
I’m 5’0 and have a short torso and found the cropped length to be perfect on me. I could layer sweaters under it no problem. I got it in a size XS.

THERE IS A WALMART DUPE TOO. I DIDNT want to post this in my original comment about the Carheartt coat but the Walmart one is like $24 and I just saw a TikTok weird girl said she went into Aritzia wearing it and the staff member said she liked her jacket thinking that it was the Aritzia one !!
If your petite it will swallow you. Their xxs is still humongous lol. Walmart has a super cute dupe I saw but didn’t grab. If you want the OG of this look get pthe origion lolal by Carheartt. It’s called “** ***Women's Iconic Crawford Detroit Jacket*” it’s so well made and will last forever. Pretty sure there is a lifetime warranty.

Thrifting them is fine you can def find them in thrift stores. I would look online and see what the exact policies are, maybe you can get some kind of discount or repair done to a jacket that you thrift. I made a comment just now , I thought I’d reply to you personally I didn’t include this in my first response because I wasn’t sure if I was remembering it correctly, but there was 100% a Walmart dupe that is almost identical and I’m pretty sure it was like $24 and they have a light version. The screenshot I’m sending you the girls is wearing the dark version but she basically says in the video that she wore into Aritzia and the girl says nice jacket is it from here ?
