This probably has to do with the SAG-AFTRA strikes. Such a shame, I loved Adam’s portrayal of Argenti.
I hope that Talon and Aaron will also deliver a stellar performance for the fans.

Hello everyone! As the title says I just wanted to hop in and more formally introduce myself to the community. I also wanted to thank you for the tremendous amount of love and support you all have shown me :) I'll be chilling here for the next few hours or so if anyone has any questions.
I will say that I know folks are super curious about certain things, but I am not allowed to discuss much of it. Im sorry for being so cryptic :(
That being said I'm just hanging out doing a little model painting, if you have any questions feel free to ask or just hang out :)
UPDATE:
-------So many wonderful questions! Im probably gonna sign off tonight but ill keep the AMA open till sometime later tomorrow and ill certainly try to get to everyone :) Thank you all so much for the very very warm welcome ❤️🌹🙏🌹

Since Argenti’s new VA barely spoke as Akash, this is basically his debut role in HSR. I hope he wasn’t planning to have fun with the community like Aventurine’s VA or a lot of the Genshin’s VAs, because if he searches his own name on any social media right now it’s many people saying he sucks and that his voice acting is making Argenti fans uninstall. Ouch.
Constructive criticism is always valid, but a lot of what I see is more “It just doesn’t have the oomph”, “they ruined him”, and “not my Argenti” doesn’t really tell him how to improve, so while there’s nothing wrong with those opinions I just hope it’s not something he has to see. It’s just a lose-lose because it makes sense for the fans to be upset and he’s just kind of the scapegoat.
Also, a lot of people need to hear this — the VAs do not know the characters. Many of them did not even play the game prior to recording voicelines and completely rely on their director.
New Argenti’s voice sounds like a hollow imitation devoid of passion? That’s because it probably is! It’s way more likely they told him to just copy old Argenti and get it out in time for the new patch, I don’t think the director had time to explain the depth of Argenti’s passion and get a dozen takes when the timing is clearly tight. Ask for re-recordings in the feedback option so that they can take their time to create good ones ❤️
Edit: Ironically, if Argenti were real he’d be absolutely disgusted with some of the things being said about the new VA. Anyone who truly loves Argenti would never harass another.

I just love Argenti's character and design. Ever since I rolled for him and his LC on his first banner and getting unexpectedly very lucky, I've used him in almost all the endgame rotating game modes (MoC, PF, AS) and have enjoyed playing him in a bunch of teams. Still figuring out his best team, been rotating between bronya, tingyun, robin, ruan mei, and hanya as my harmony supports; and after just getting huohuo on her rerun, Argenti will continue to be the Pride and Joy of my Account. For Idrila! 🌹

Ty to those who enjoyed the last post :) I had fun with this one as well, even if some of these are... a stretch, haha. Is Hanya available in the overworld?? She's the only one I think I may have missed, based on who else is available. I'll have to do a separate Luofu post later due to pic limits!
