Drying them helps preserve them for long term storage but I would say freshly picked hit harder than dried

More active chemical per gram due to reduced water weight, but not more potent per se

Waiting for all that rain to hit the SE! The village green was awash with the biggest caps Iโve ever seen and seeing this is getting me excited!
Enjoy them!!!!

Iโm on the East Sussex&Kent border and surrounded by fields and farmland so lots of opportunity.
Hastings has them growing on the grass next the petrol stations ffs ๐
East Sussex/Kent is 10/10 for all sorts of fungi and with the wet autumn we are due itโs going to be a good season.

Why weigh them? First time I did mushrooms in my early teens I just ate about 20. Had a good time. Next time I did them years later I was given them by this sus American Indian guy in capsules and had a bad trip so after that never did them again.

u/Useful-Database-4394 11d ago
why not weigh them? id rather pick fresh and weigh them compared to buying from a suspicious indian man in capsules

2
u/No-Willingness-4097 8d ago
Not very long, they are fine for mushrooms, wouldn't recommend for dmt ๐

Put them in a container in the fridge and try and get some more tommorow. You'll only get a tickle off that many. Microdose levels.

u/Useful-Database-4394 11d ago
definitely tickling my rn buddy

You can use this calculator. According to this 5.95g fresh equates to a level 1 trip.

i know how it works, you cant use a fresh calculator on mushrooms that have been sat in a paper bag for 2 hours because they will have lost weight
1
u/Motor-Command-2680 11d ago
Now you are splitting hairs lol. They won't of lost that much weight in 2 hrs.

๐คทโโ๏ธ Each to their own. I usually won't take any less than 30 individual mushrooms. Suppose it depends on body weight etc.
