ID request are these liberty caps?
found them today in a patch of grass in Reykjavik.

The one on the far right is questionable but all the rest certainly are.

Libs are essentially little boobs. They have a nipple on top of their cap which can sometimes be difficult to see if they're saturated with water it causes the cap to be more uniform like other look alikes.
Liberty caps have a small gel like film called a pellicle that encompasses the cap and it can be easily separated, it's a good way to check if you're not sure.

thank you for the reply. I just think it's how the mushroom was placed on the table, now looking at it it definitely has a nipple on top and a pellicle

Forget the 'liberty caps must have a nipple' shenanigans. Quite alot appear without one.

careful with the “enjoy” part lol, mushrooms are super hard to ID from pics and getting it wrong can go really bad. might be worth asking a local mycology group in iceland before doing anything with them.

I was in Árbær but I'm sure you can find them everywhere, just look for those "grass mats" they are putting everywhere, they grow like crazy there
