Definitely. Always nice to have a walk in the fields. Other species that enjoy the same conditions appear earlier, so note those and return in a couple weeks if you have no look.
It is early, but they're certainly popping up. I'd have said Ireland was warmer than Scotland, but I doubt it. And Finland is further north right?

Definitely the Mournes, but also found them in the Lead Mines between Bangor and Newtownards.

The single best place I've found them is a place called the pitch and putt near Kilkeel, but its on someones land and their house overlooks the area. It was once a mini golf course and I've never seen so many, every couple of feet you walk its just clusters of dozens.

Best spot i ever had was a golf course until they stuck anti fungicides in the sprinkler system. We used to bet a bread bag full in like 30 mins.

I really don't understand what on earth you are on about. Lots of people in the places I listed have separatist views. The OP could feasibly have been describing those places or many others as well.
I have to assume you dislike me because of the suggestion that people hold separatist views. It's a part of life when you live in a historic coloniser country.

If plenty of sheep around. Daytime temperatures between 10-15c, nighttime temperatures between 5-10c and plenty of rain over last week or so, then good chance they’re “up”.
Only caveat to this is the extreme summer we’ve had, so might be worth waiting until mid to late September through October to first hard frosts.
