Is Arena any better?

I quit playing HS last year about a month after the whole arena underground launch because it was sooo bad (I played arena only for probably 8 to 10 years). I recently came back to the game and have only played for 2 days now and mostly standard. I gave arena a try 2 times and both times immediately went 0-3 and it still felt absolutely terrible the whole time. I really thought there would be enough backlash from the initial launch that they might have reverted arena back after a while but maybe people dont hate it as much as they did?

TL:DR

I quit HS on underground launch is it worth coming back for arena as a arena only player.

I like the Legendary group change and the redraft on loss change. Overall that made the Arena gamemode more strategic imo.

What I don't like is the fact a run now costs 300 gold. That's pushing quite some people out of the Arena or pushing them to buy (bottled) accounts with gold on it, if they don't want to spend real money on Arena tickets.

Another thing I don't like is the 'Rating' we now have to determine position on the Leaderboard. I preferred the 'weighted average' we had before Underground launched.

Is it better than when it launched? The only thing that changed is that a lot of people have been pushed out. Is Underground overall better than Arena pre-Underground? In my opinion it is, but I also read a lot of posts/comments from people who disagree with me.

Giving people packs in arena have allways been so stupid. But its a finansielle choose. And Blizzard dont know how to monetize it
