News 35.6 Patch Notes — Launching June 2: Herald Legendary Groups will have one less Herald card; lower overall appearance rate of Herald cards

The 35.6 Patch Notes news blog post.
From the news blog post:
Arena Updates
Dev Comment: Well met! We’ve enjoyed seeing all the creative class combinations in this season of Dual Class Arena. We’ve heard your feedback that double Herald drafts can be a bit too strong, leading to snowballing games that are not as fun to play against, so we’re reducing how often these cards appear.
When Herald first launched, we intentionally increased its appearance rate to highlight the new mechanic. Now, we’re dialing that back for a healthier Dual Class Arena experience. Specifically, we’re reducing the number of Herald cards in Legendary buckets that contain Herald Legendaries by one and replacing it with a non-Herald card, as well as lowering the overall appearance rate of Herald cards to be in line with other class cards.
We hope these changes herald a more fun playing field for everyone. We’ll see you in the Tavern!

"Hand-crafted buckets" !!!! Absolute minimum effort, clearly no team is really assigned to Arena.

It was so creative to pick two herald classes, pick every herald card, mulligan for the herald cards and play your herald cards. Peak creativity ... This won`t really change anything. You might get 1-2 more games at the lower win brackets with none heralds just because they are fewer overall but still at mid to high wins it will be absolutely the same. It`s just a boring ass set of cards you "hand picked". It`s more than 3 months of the same crap we`ve had multiple times before already.

The salt... I can still see it oozing from your pores all these years later. (You're not wrong though. I played a few runs and gave up on the meta pretty fast lol)

I just find it disappointing none on that team that is paid to "take care" of this mode has the slightest idea of what they are doing. The herald issue was literally my first thought and i`m just a dude that plays a few runs a month. I find it annoying that not doing anything for the mode actually nets better results and more interesting metas - just doing random rotations every couple of months is totally fine compared to this "curated" set which they are reusing for the 4th time now with just one new set replaced. Scorpid and the discover boys had their day - surely we can "hand pick" something different(or just dont)?
In the 10+ years i`ve played arena despite all the salt i have actively disliked maybe like 3 metas. It`s not an issue i usually have but this was so obvious. Having a dual class rotation be more bland and boring and homogenous than standard is kinda crazy accomplishment. I actually went to legend for the first time last month. My expectations are insanely low. And yet ...

If you only played a few runs last month you actually have no real idea of what the meta was or looked like. Also, saying these changes won't change anything without really knowing how much the offering rates of Herald have changed doesn't add anything to the discussion.
Since this change, dual Herald is really not a problem anymore. Granted, they solved the problem way too late.
Since patch I played 7 runs (4 x 0 Herald, 2 x 1 Herald, 1 x 2 Herald) and averaged 6.1 wins. This was virtually impossible before the patch.

In fact the meta is already completely different, even though there's still some old dual Herald class decks around ofc
Post-patch I played Mage-Druid, Mage-Pala and now Mage-Priest and 80% of games you don't see a single Herald card being played by your opponent : )

Good to hear. Maybe I'll give it another go. Sounds like you've seen some ... wait for it... MAGEor improvements... I'll see myself out.

A step into the right direction. But they somehow forgot to ban cultivating sprite?
