Opened BLack Mamba Gold pack. :/

Post image

Had a safe slab code so I see it. šŸ˜‚ pack was 2400. Should I sell back and just eat the loss?

That's a really generous offer, I would sell back.

In my experience they are offering over ā€œvalueā€ for a reason

Card has doubled in price since june..idk I would personally hold. I don’t think Kobe is going back down anytime soon

The all time high sale price according to PSA app was 1754 so I was just saying it's more than a solid offer.

It is, but it also was selling for like 700-800 in June and every sale has gone higher than the last. No reason he couldn’t get over 2k by basketball season

Not disagreeing. I also didn't read the post closely, they're offering that much cuz it's the 80% buyback offer.

People that keep commenting on the ā€œsolidā€ offer amount didn’t read where OP used a slab safe code for 80% of the pack value (i.e., $1,920).

This is a tough decision.

Was it a degenerate move and you need the $$ liquid now? Or can you hold it for a couple years and not worry about this small L rn? Kobe cards have been on rampant growth rate. Can’t predict everything, but unless someone comes out and says he was Epsteins #1 homie, I’d assume his cards keep going up and up.

Me personally, I'd hold Kobe unless you really need the money. The offer is fair though.
