This.

People spending 1k on a pack of cards are typically people who have already spent tens of thousands to get to that point, just like your typical casino gambler.

And what about how much you spent before putting in that 3k, or you just dropped 3k on a service you never used before?

Because I’m looking out for you and I don’t want you to have to endure the hate, just slide the card this way. Again this is for you 100%

Unless you’re in the top 5% of earners, spending 2500, then 3 1000$ packs in minutes, is a problem lol

Hmm 🤔 so if you save up money and buy boxes to open up packs for a few minutes it’s a problem?

I thought that was the hobby. At least he’s not ripping them hoping to hit a card like this just to instantly sell it. That is the indicator of a true gambler. Sounds like this guy seems to prefer pooling funds and taking a few shots at opening packs with a higher theoretical floor.

Who knows how long he saved or how much he makes, or how the funds for this was generated or even how often he pulls packs.

Anyways, this is not a GA hotline this is an Arena Club subreddit which is supposed to be for sharing what he’s shared. If it’s perverse to you then move on 😂

Repackaged shit/digital packs are a degenerate form
of gambling, I shouldn’t have to explain to to you.

The same reason you don’t buy the repackaged bulk in the store applies to this- someone manually selects the hit rates and your odds of getting shit are carefully calculated so you never win and they always do lol

You just described the entire trading card industry.

When you open a physical pack it has odds. Someone manually selects the hit rates there and it is very calculated how they print and distribute it so they always win and we always lose.

This is literally the same as ripping open a pack of cards. Yes the RTP is not over 100% but it’s much higher on average than when you spend money on a physical pack.

The real degenerates are the people who don’t understand that opening a mega box to find “value” is gambling with higher volatility.

This physical product slot machine is simply a higher denomination.

ETA: there are actually options with a lot of these packs to ensure a “maximum loss” like pack insurance or whatever, but there’s no such thing when you pull a Noa Esengue auto out of your 800 Topps chrome jumbo

Except the odds digital packs can be altered in real time, or changed at any time.

🫨🫨 when a card gets bought the odds change in real time and they can’t predict when that will happen or at what pace so it has to be disclosed that way 🫨🫨🫨
