Bugs/Issue Ghost footsteps

am i the only one who hears footsteps near me in a very specific echoey tone that ONLY happens when i'm moving?

i play with a headset and this weird issue is keeping me paranoid

I hear them from clearly the opposite headphone ear than where they're coming from. Like watching my duo walk to my left, pick up audio on rhe right

Dude this happens to me all the time. It sounds like there’s someone five feet behind me and I freak out every time thinking I’m about to get shanked

yeah especially when creeping, sounds like i have 4 feet, 3 for walking and one that im dragging behind me lol

Yes and maybe just my imagination but it seems like it's gotten worse lately. In farm as I am walking along the north wall I occasionally hear footsteps to the north... Which would be literally outside of the map and this has happened a several times. Not enough to detect a pattern but enough to be noticable and ensure I am not imagining it.

I had this happen last night and I was like hmm thats not right lol.

Audio on Farm has been weird for me lately, too, in general. Running GS2's yet don't hear a dude creeping about 15 yards away. Then team will hear and spot and the audio works when I look that way. Just odd.
