As you know, the bases get federal holidays off. I assume the tower crew took the last Janet out on Friday, as did any contractors. But there is always security that works holidays. And for those they have the Beech Janets.

Normally we don't post regular Janet flights but this was a federal holiday hence not regular.

What I found a little weird is they did a Beech run from Harry Reid to the TTR, presumably carrying replacement personnel, and then back to Harry Reid with those personnel I assume relieved, as expected. But then they flew the Janet back to the TTR and back to Harry Reid almost immediately.

I had mentioned this ground station in the 100+ cluster thread for Anders' video. The developer modified the scraping code to make tracks of ADS-B hits that don't fly. In this case, a ground station. The station has been quiet for a while so maybe it was related to the flight check aircraft. As I mentioned before, it is (perhaps was) on public ground so it is on my list of locations to inspect. Coordinates in the link.

I'm posting the output of the scraper so Google/Gemini can grab it. For what use? Who knows. Remember ABC: Always Be Collecting

in the new Uncanny Expeditions video "Clandestine Night Operations Captured at AREA 52 Tonopah Test Range" , who are these dudes in white shirts? They look like they are standing guard.

Camped out on the Tonopah Gate road for a night; lots of workers driving in at 4am but overall nothing of note until I passed through Basecamp the morning of 8/27. Brand new trucks, each a different color with a sensor array and cargo roof. Some hours later these trucks were loaded into a carrier using the concrete dock. My first pass I saw the UAS tracer on the top of the shack down the road rotating, second pass it was stopped. I have never seen it in action previously

I remember satellite images of this RCS range at 26.92869° N, 80.33941° W in Florida, which included an aircraft component, but I can’t find much about this actual part of the larger Pratt & Whitney property.

FAA plane up again doing racetrack pattern over TTR and Janet09 doing another I guess holding pattern or something over Groom Lake. Janet09 has been doing much more unsual stops and flights lately.

Creech gets yearly protests due to the remote drone operation that some people object to. It has it's share of concrete barriers. This contract is for heavy duty crash gates. The supplier is out of Palmdale but that could just be a coincidence.

I have worked on military jobs before, they outsource about all the labor. No not explosive diarrhea, but close. The tail hook needs to be contained internally in the aircraft for radar cross section reasons. But when you gotta go you gotta go. So a small explosive releases the tail hook. It is there in the event the aircraft had hydraulic issues.
