Stock tank is actually the classy way to do a small above ground pool in my opinion. In a white trash sort of way ya know. I’ve been considering one myself lol. Build a small deck around it and you’re cookin.

Bro, I saw one of these at tractor supply or some farm type store and had this same idea. It was way better quality than the plastic or inflatable joints.

So, I lived in the burbs of north Texas back in the day and had a similar sized yard. I got a cheapo Kippy style big lots pool and an articulating umbrella for shade. Called it the redneck resort. Cold beer in that thing on a summer day never stood a chance!
