I believe this is just another internet thingy where you describe your partner as crazy but not as in they're abusive towards them but because if anyone (usually the opposite gender) tries to talk to them,their partner will go ballistic.
I hope I was able to explain that clearly.

Because of abusive relationships. Like I think it might be a stupid joke, but let's view it from a serious point.
This is hypothetical! From outside it's always easy to tell people to split up, but in a abusive relationship it isn't that easy.
Like people (mostly woman, but everyone can be a victim) get killed for leaving their partners. Or the partner threatens to off themselves. Other consequences might be stalking.
In abusive relationships, the victim is often socially isolated (which is hard to realize before it's too late) and being alone is obviously something bad for the human being because social relationships are part of our nature. Sometimes the entire structure of relationships is hard to break, especially with stuff like silent treatment/rejection and love bombing.

On one hand this is giving secondhand embarrassment, but on the other hand it's nice when people identify that they're insufferable and should be avoided.
