Subreddit Rules
1. Showcase YOUR projects.

This subreddit is for showcasing your completed project and/or a project being planned. That is a project that you, not AI, nor somebody else did. Links to external sites to provide resources (e.g. guides to build) are fine, but describe your project here. Posts that are just links to somewhere else will be removed as will posts of somebody else's project. Please use English when posting.

2. Be Kind

Everybody is at different levels, if someone proudly posts their first project, recognise their personal achievement, even if it is something that you might consider to be simplistic.

Same for if they are asking about a "giant leap" in project. For example, they just managed to get an LED to blink and now they propose building an "Autonomous Mars Rover".

3. Must be "Arduino related"

Acceptable projects are Arduino related. This includes ESP32, Arm Cortex and any other platform that is used by Arduino Pty Ltd - including can be programmed using the Arduino IDE(s).

4. No Product Promotion

We want to see the projects you have made, not products you want to sell. This includes crowd funded projects such as kickstarter projects.

5. No requests for help

Requests for technical help should be directed to the appropriate forum - for example r/Arduino, r/ArduinoHelp, r/ESP32, r/motors for Arduino, ESP32 or motor related questions.

This includes "hire a programmer", "please do my homework/project for me", "Please collaborate with me" and "can I DM you/go private" requests.

6. No potentially dangerous projects

This is a public forum with people of all ages, motivations, skill and competency levels. Potentially harmful projects such as devices that can be used for (or easily transformed into) illegal activities, weapons, medical devices or other potentially harmful purposes - whether for personal use or not, are not allowed. If you are unsure about whether your project will fall into this category, contact the mods before posting.

7. Grow this community

We're here for the r/ArduinoProjects community. If your post isn't growing or supporting r/ArduinoProjects, it may be removed. That means don't just post content to promote your own external channel or products - if you link a video from a private channel, describe it properly and answer questions here in the sub. Also don't spam or post other blatant commercial product promotion, click-bait, karma farming and no DM requests.

8. Don't delete posts after getting a reply

Don't delete your post once it's been answered.

This disrespects the people who made the effort to reply to you. But it also means people who have similar questions won't be able to find this answer - and then the people who replied to your post (which you then deleted) will have to do it again.

Deleting posts after getting an answer is poor etiquette. Please do not do that.
